• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Wrapped my 2021 RT Limited

What advantage of that bright red Spyder is that it will be eye-catching, compared to the Petrol Metallic that I have.

What can I do with my iPhone connected to the Spyder through the BRP Go app?

reyeade, Thanks for the information. That's a very interesting device. I'm not sure that I need to use navigation for most of my writing, but certainly for riding out of the area. It would be very useful. And much more useful than the phone only.

My first really, really close call on the Spyder

I am a relatively new Spyder rider, having owned one for just over a month. I've ridden motorcycles for 62 years and when I begin riding the Spyder, I was very concerned (and still am) about vehicles pulling in front of me from side streets and driveways, and so forth. With the motorcycle, I had...

Can anyone post a pic of the Seat Latch Lug on a 2022 Spyder RT?

Is that "lug" the same as the two securing the frunk on the RTL?

Doing some Toy Hauler Research - Anyone have any info or experience with these?

I had a toy hauler, pull behind type hitch. We didn't keep it very long because we found that it was not comfortable to spend time in it since it didn't have the amenities that our previous motorhome had. As was mentioned, the ramp was quite steep and I damaged the coolant overflow tank on my...

87 Octane seems to work just fine

I have owned my 2023 Spyder RTL for about a month and I've ridden it 1000 miles over country roads, in the city, and on the highway. I use 87 octane fuel and my average miles per gallon has been 39.5 (actual MPG not indicated MPG on the bike's computer). I'm very happy with the mileage, it's...

What can I do with my iPhone connected to the Spyder through the BRP Go app?

vito1943, thanks for the information. I haven't plugged my phone into the bike's system in a while, because I couldn't find any real use for it. I have a mount for the phone and will do what you are doing. I don't intend to ride any long distances, so I probably won't even bother plugging the...

What can I do with my iPhone connected to the Spyder through the BRP Go app?

racoon, thank you very much for that informative reply to my questions. After watching the video and reading your post, I think I'm all set and will download a few apps and give it a try.

What can I do with my iPhone connected to the Spyder through the BRP Go app?

I recently purchased a 2023 RTL. I have connected my cell phone to the bike via the BRP Go app. I am not sure what I can do with the phone connection to the Spyder. Which apps in the phone are compatible? And how do I get them to work?

My 2016 RT-L - Planning on an Octane Research project

The OP said that the tablets will increase the octane by 10 points. I wonder what a point is? Certainly it can't go from 87 to 97 octane, or can it?

My 2016 RT-L - Planning on an Octane Research project

I don't understand the relationship between octane rating, and miles per gallon. However, if there is a minor improvement with those octane pills, your test would have to be conducted under identical conditions, with and without the octane pills. There are many variables, whenever riding to the...

My first impressions of the 2023 Spyder RTL

Now that I have accumulated nearly 1000 miles on the Spyder, I am more comfortable on the curves than I was at 500 miles. I'm still finding the steering to be somewhat twitchy when the road is not smooth. As far as taking curves like the sports bikes can. That isn't important to me. At 78 years...

Is Plexus, the plastic cleaner/protector, available anywhere besides the manufacturer?

Are the above products used on the windshield and painted body parts?

What windshield bug cleaner do you use?

I use Turtle Wax spray, Lemon Pledge, and hydrogen peroxide for the bugs.

Has anyone modified the brake pedal to make it easier to use?

I tried the easiest (cheapest) fix for the brake pedal problem and bought a wider pedal from Big Bike Parts. I haven't ridden it very far, but from what I can tell, it's just what I needed. My big clodhopper sits very nicely on the right edge of the pedal. Thanks for all of your input on this...

    2026 model year reveal 8-17-25 6:45 PM

I am curious about a four-wheel Spyder. Since it has four wheels, I guess it couldn't be classified as a motorcycle, so would it fall under the same equipment requirements as a car or a truck? Actually, if it was set up like my Spyder, I think I'd enjoy it even more with four wheels.

Does the BRP service manual download to a Mac?

Thanks for the information. I will order one today. The reason I asked is that I was looking on the web for various service manuals for the Spyder and the ones I looked at were for Windows only.

Does the BRP service manual download to a Mac?

I can't find any information in the search function on this site, and there is no information about computer compatibility on the BRP website.

Battery/Starting slow spin - is this common & why doesn't it start like a normal motorcycle?

According to the specification sheet above, the recommended charging rate for the standard battery in the Spyder is 2 A.
