• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It could become a bit like sacrificing your queen to set up a checkmate in chess. You win that game and get another queen for the next game.

Want bright LED Turn signal indicator lights - where to tap into their circuit without CANBUS yelling at me?

All that was needed to make mine visible in the daylight was a small shelf above the indicator lights to block direct sun from them. About a quarter inch was enough.

Am I looking in the wrong place for Frame and motor numbers? Any advice?

The frame number, or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), on a Can-Am Spyder is a 17-character code that provides specific details about the vehicle's manufacturing, attributes, and unique serial number. The VIN is broken down into three sections: the World Manufacturer Identifier (WMI), the...

Just for what it is worth, the negative numbers on your clock face could not possibly be designated as unsigned int. That would be against all digital binary protocol. It is not possible for a negative number to be unsigned. All unsigned numbers can only be positive or zero.

Am I looking in the wrong place for Frame and motor numbers? Any advice?

The engine serial number on a 2014 Can-Am RT Limited is stamped on the rear of the engine block, behind the oil filler/crankcase vent. It may be difficult to see without removing the left side panel or using a mechanics mirror or phone camera to get a better view. The frame number (VIN) on a...

Leading zeros are not required in all binary numbers. They are only required when the numbers are stacked in 8 bit bytes. If leading zeros were used on a clock face it would just make the numbers more confusing. each number on the clock face would be 8 spaces long and they would be mostly zeros...

The Kanji Clocks which I mentioned before were fairly common in most of the local cities and towns of most any of the countries and islands which spoke Japanese or Chinese. The simplified ancient symbols for the numbers were the same in Japanese, Mandarin, and Cantonese. The simplified symbols...

I was USAF flight crew on C-130-E Hercules aircraft in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Almost all aircrew briefing rooms had 2 clocks with numbers like the first one below. One of them was marked ZULU TIME and the other was marked LOCAL. All aircrew were issued a watch with glow in the dark...

If it is actually a clock, the hands would have to mounted wrong to be out of synchronization like that. If it is only a decorative piece to hang in a window that reflects light, then the hands being out of synchronization could be intentional, and used as a pattern reminder for the person who...

Not a foot peg. I machined it from a piece of bronze rod. It may have been about 7/8 diameter to start with. Chucked it up with a support about 4 inches from the free end and center bored the free end to take a tail stock live center. Took out the center support and put the tail stock on...
