• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

This statement - TRUTH "The absofreakinlutely WORST day riding still beats any day at work; and generally beats just about any other day as well!" 😁

About to pull the trigger on a 2023 or 2025 Spyder RT Dark - what am I really paying for? Any other major considerations on differences?

2023 for sure. If you want Carplay, get a Carpuride. The advantage is that it is touchscreen all the time and it sits closer to you, easier to use.

Considering a Spyder - Can I Ask You Some Questions?

Since no one really ever "drops" a Spyder, miles on the odometer is really not concerning. I would try to get a 2020 or later model RTL for 2 up riding comfort. But an F3 Limited would also be good. Both are very comfortable machines and will eat up the miles on the open road. And no...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Looks good, Any concerns about someone stealing it when you stop for a bite to eat or do an overnight somewhere? I do wish the Carpuride had some sort of quick disconnnect

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on Can Am 2023 RTL - can it be fixed?

I found that if you reset the odometer BEFORE refueling, it messing things up. Turn off the Spyder, refuel, then start up again and reset the odometer.

    I got another New Helmet!

As a manufacturer of hard hats - this information is totally correct. Most of us will say 5 years "in use". If you rarely ride, you go longer than 5 years. UV light and drop damage are your main culprits to life span.

Canyon Redrock Ride Review by Lamonster

Man, your story is breaking my heart. You have positively affected so many people. I hope you know that. I just said a prayer for you. God is with you. And remember, being with HIM is even better than the open road on a Spyder.

I'm even more of a Spyder fan than I was before

Well, I am 54 and in great health. I also have both a Spyder and Honda CTX700 for when the urge calls. While I have no physical issues with bigger bikes, I also prefer the Spyder

Had to wear Gloves for Can Am riding course - Do you wear gloves? Why? Or why not?

What I wear. Back of hand ventilated, touchscreen, and they dry out fast after a rainstorm. https://www.pyramex.com/collections/synthetic/products/gl103ht

Most amount of miles/KM you have ridden in one day on the Spyder

You guys are an inspiration to me. After 400 - 450 miles, my butt says enough.

Looking at a 2020 Spyder - is this high mileage? Any thoughts?

The great thing about buying any used Spyder is at least you never have to ask the question, "Has it been dropped?"

Anyone Added a large (7") Carplay Display screen to a Spyder RT?

How do you folks feel about the possibility of the Carpuride being stolen? There is no quick release like on the Garmin.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Tried to install Barkbuster storm hand guards but they block the mirrors. Oh well, I will put them on my CTX700 instead.

2020 RTL clutch surging when cold

Glad you posted this. I ride in cold weather (40's) and have noticed the same and wondered if it was just my Spyder. But like you said, it goes way in about 10 minutes as the bike warms.

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

She almost always does her reviews bare footed. That is her schtick. She is a great ambassador and when she rides, she is very safe.

Spyder pricing (looking for my first) - which do you think is the better deal?

There is a killer S2S for sale in the For Sale By Owner section right now. Beautiful bike with upgrades. https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?161951-2022-Can-Am-Spyder-RT-Limited-Sea-to-Sky-with-only-1700-miles!

Should there be a bolt thru these Empty holes?

I know mine were loose from driving and I had to tighten them up. Maybe they were there and fell off. But for sure, you should have a fastener there.

Wondering how many owners do not know this is possible?
