• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First road trip coming up - any last minute Words of Wisdom?

I always bring an extra pair of gloves. I hate wearing wet gloves. Also, it might just be me, but for a road trip, I like make sure I pack heat - just for the unexpected.

RT seems better suited for seniors

i am still plenty young enough for a 2 wheeler (and own a Honda CTX700) but I really like my Spyder the best. The reason I ride is for comfort, experience, and freedom. My RT Limited is my go to bike.

What are your thoughts on a Front wheel drive Spyder?

So as I was saying about a front wheel drive Spyder: A Mirage by Mitsubishi is a very light weight vehicle with a shell and 5 seats. And the motor is about the same size as our Spyders. So I don't think the weight of front wheel drive would be too much of a deal breaker, and it would simplify...

What are your thoughts on a Front wheel drive Spyder?

I was cruising this past weekend on my Spyder, letting my mind wander a bit, and thought about our drivetrain. Right now we use a looooong belt to drive the rear tire . There has been a lot of discussion about a shaft drive but I don't recall anyone ever mentioning a front wheel drive setup...

Those of you that Concealed Carry on your Spyder, what type of holster do you use?

Back in the day when I was still on two wheel I was carrying my Glock, round in the chamber, and on my belt outside. Well, I laid the bike down on a curve and landed on that side. Fortunately, the gun and holster where fine, (underneath my leather jacket that was not fine.) But man, that gun...
