• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Doing my first Iron Butt tonight!

Man, none of this sounds very fun to me. I am a slow rider who likes to see the scenery and wave at the kids I see playing in their front yards.

Do I really need a GPS?

I love this back and forth - quite entertaining. :) I have been a phone GPS guy or 5 years but just purchased a Zumo XT for the reasons below: * my handle bar phone has said it has gotten to hot on a few occasions and shuts down, mostly just when I needed it. * my handle bar phone has gotten...

I have a problem with Dishonest Dealers!

No I am not wrong about the lights not being rewired properly or the seat strut being marked as fixed when it was not touched. I don't know how to find evidence one way or the other about whether an oil change was performed other than ask them point blank.

I have a problem with Dishonest Dealers!

Well, Problems resolved. I was very nice to the lady service advisor. After 3 hours of waiting, then the service manager comes out and explains the situation to me. He also told me he is new and was brought in to clean up their service issues. They installed the new shock and the seat now...

What Life/Mileage can I expect from a 2016 RT engine?

My two cents. Most engines today outlast the rest of the vehicle. The engines are very well built and if maintained properly, other parts of the bike will start to break down or become costly to keep up with but the engine will keep on going.

I have a problem with Dishonest Dealers!

This is really really horrible news for someone that dropped over $30K on a bike. How in the world does Can Am let this happen? They should have factory folks out training their dealer techs. This is the kind of news that makes me want to sell my Spyder and get a converted Endeavor Trike GW...

2020+ SEAT Strut issues - a different solution!

OK, I bought that exact spring and installed it. No bueno. The spring pushes the strut back off of the seat. It wedges between the seat arm and the strut and causes separation as I open the seat. I guess I have to go back to the dealer and have them replace the strut

Please, I need advice re Putting a Spyder on ramps?

I bought cheap ramps from Harbor Freight. Made getting under the Spyder a breeze. I just lined up the ramps against the lip of the concrete slab that is in my garage. Then I could easily drive up.
