• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Nancy Toy, Are you sure about that 90% twisting of belt? I have used your suggested twist of a 1/4 turn to check belt and it seems perfect.90% seems that would be 2/3 of a twist or more.

    Do some research on this board about belt tension. I did and followed Nancy's Toy on checking belt tension. Bike now so smooth hard to believe it is same bike. My belt was very loose and did not have enough clearance from drive pulley flange.

    I find it hard to figure, since re-adjusting the drive belt which was very loose plus using 89 octane. Bike runs so much smoother.     As for rpms I know that these bike like a lot of rpms and seldom use 5th unless ove 60mph. But with 91 in tank engine could be run at lower rpms! Makes no sense to me at all. I will from here on use nothing less then 89 It has taken awhile for me to get use to buzzing along at such high rpms...
