• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    She won't start

That is what I was talking about when I said my bike thought it was being stolen,...the key apparently has some computer things in it (go see Lamont's post of a key taken apart) anyway, mine wasn't connecting correctly and was sending a signal to the bike that it was being tampered with and so...

    She won't start

I have to agree.. I have an 08 RS and I had the exact same issue one morning. Battery said fully charged and still wouldn't start! But, jumped it and had no problem after that. I did happen to have the same issue a few months later and it was the security feature. It thought it was being stolen...

    Removing the trunk?

Mine is an RS and all I had to do was remove two bolts and it was off.. Then changed out the panel and put the bolts back in. Just had to make sure the latch was matched up correctly so it would shut properly. And all done.. Good luck! Hope yours is just as easy

    Risers

Thanks so much! I am leaning toward the Kewl Metal risers as of right now because they don't seem to require changing out cables or cutting bars. Any and all help on installing them will be appreciated. :)

    Risers

I have looked at the Kewl Metal risers and like them alot.. And thank you for the input. As I am going to do this myself I want something easy and basically indestructible. Lol. I like to do my own mods so I know MY bike :)

    Risers

I am wanting to put risers on my RS over the winter and was wondering if anyone can recommend a brand that is easy to install and does not require changing out my keys to accommodate a new ignition system? Also I am 5'5" and what length would you recommend so I sit comfortably and can finally...

Best Wax to use on Spyder.

Believe it or not.. I use Honda polish. Gets off all the bugs, leaves a GREAT shine! And it can be used on every surface of the bike. I have always used it. It's hard to find if you don't have a Honda dealer near you however. It sprays on and just wipes off. When it rains it beads up and leaves...

    RT vs RS

I have an RS, and I do not think I want an RT at this point. I have always had two wheels and this was my first three wheeler. When I bought it they did not have RT's, as far as long trips go.. I don't mind having to stop a little more frequently to stretch or move around. Makes the trip less...

    Spyderfest Hotels sold out!

Thankfully I made mine a few weeks ago in Rolla.. I don't mind the ride and got a great deal booking so far in advance. I kinda had a feeling Cuba would fill up too fast because it didn't have alot of hotels listed when I went to there chamber site.. Happy hunting everyone :). Should be a great...
