• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    1up Top Case Only

Order the bracket from my stealer, total cost was $110. And yes there is no way you get the passenger seat out without removing the bracket. I thought about trying to modify the bracket to either make it pivot or quick attach somehow, I’ll let you know if I come up with anything.

    1up Top Case Only

Smoothspyder makes one but it’s over $500, no thanks. I knew the one I got would fit & work because it’s an OEM part for a F3.

    1up Top Case Only

The F3-P is the police version. Google it & check it out. Part # for the bracket is 705010370. The rear of the bracket underneath just touches the top of my stock passenger seat. So if your cowl is higher than the stock seat it will probably hit it. Also the bracket is something you...

    1up Top Case Only

Just thought I would share some pics & info of my latest add-on. This is for the people who never ride 2up & want extra cargo. I never liked any of the other style brackets that put the top case way far back pass the rear tire. I guess if you need the room & ride 2up, you have to do, what you...

    YAWN

Yes I am! Here in Clovis, about 1.5 hours from you. I ride just about every weekend, usually up into the mountains. There s big fire going on there right now so maybe not that way for awhile but I’m always up for a ride somewhere. Let me know if you ever make it this far south.

    LH Switch Housing

Its most likely not the switch. I had it happen to me a few times and all I do is loosen the bolt that holds the actuating arm on the caliper to release it. Then readjust it & it works fine. Might want to try or check that.

    FOBO

Problems here too. Mine says to turn ON Bluetooth for FoboBike to work accorordinly...YES! My Bluetooth is on. The app just updated a few days ago so I’m guessing that’s the problem. I deleted the app & reinstalled & still the same. I’ll be calling next week to see what’s up.

    Throttle Sticking

2015 F3S had 1200 miles on it when I bought it August of last year. Took it straight to the dealer for warranty. Yours is probably out of warranty. I would take it apart & see where its sticking, maybe you can fix it yourself for cheap.

    Throttle Sticking

My F3 was sticking when I bought it used. It was still under factory warranty & the dealer ground down some of the plastic inside the twist area while they waited for parts to come in. It was fine after they ground it but since it was still under warranty I let them replace the whole assmy.

    Are Car Tires Too Stiff?

Don’t do it! Just installed the Kumho on the rear of my F3S & I toatlly regret it. Total loss of traction even at 15 psi & it does seem to ride a bit stiffer. I will be going back to the kenda on the rear as soon as I smoke this one off. I would rather have to change out the tire every year...

    Yes! Another tire thread...question

Wheel the correct way? Low side of the wheel? Please explain. The tire went on the wheel fine, just when applying air pressure to set the bead is when there was a problem. They really had to soap them up to get it to “pop” on. Make sense?

    Yes! Another tire thread...question

I am going to drop the front to 15 & the rear to 20 and go for another test run. To the guy who made the comment that it might be in the wheels, could be correct. Before they mounted my tires they spun the wheels by them self to check them. They both needed the exact same weight before &...

I had the smell too until I removed the cat, could be a coincidence but who knows.

    Yes! Another tire thread...question

LOOK MA, NO HANDS! So I installed the ferderal formoza’s on the front & the Kuhmo Ecsta on the rear & boy what a difference. I did have the fronts road forced balanced & 1 took only .75oz & 1.0oz on the other. I also installed the wheel balancers from lamonster on all 3. The front end is a...

    Owner Service

No! But make sure you keep all the receipts for the parts you use & maintenace records of everything you do, just in case they try ever to call foul. It’s against the law for any dealer in the US to tell you that you have to have them service it to keep warranty & also for them to tell you...

    Yes! Another tire thread...question

Kumho Ecsta. I like staying with the same size even though other sizes are really close in specs. It’s actually getting mounted & balanced as I type. I ran the “goop” in all my atv’s, just because of the nature they ran in. I’ll carry a plug kit & I also have AAA if needed. No one had the...

    Yes! Another tire thread...question

I currently run 18 cold now & probably will do the same in the new ones. I got the rear off today & hoping I can get it switched out tomorrow & back on. I’m going to see if I can get the formoza locally, if not I will order from amazon. Are you running sealant? I’m debating on running the...

    Yes! Another tire thread...question

Yes, I already have those & tried those. After a little bit of mix up (I removed all the weight then installed balancers, come to find out you’re supposed to leave the weight on) I had the wheels rebalanced & it seems to be worse than before. I’m going with new tires just because I’ve heard so...

    Lamontster’s Sway Bar

If you can’t lift it up, dig a hole. I took my trenching shovel & dug a 6”x2’x18” or so deep hole, rolled my Spyder over it, swung the old sway bar right out & in with the new. I feel it’s a lot safer if you don’t have a lift & trying to get it way up in the air with only a floor jack.
