• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2012 RT Brake failure and parking brake lights stay on - any ideas?

I checked the emergency brake pulley and micro switch. The pulley moves the parking brake cable approximately 1" and it turns the micro switch on and off. This does not confirm that the switch isn't malfunctioning. Is there an easy way to check the switch? Another thought. There is a low...

2012 RT Brake failure and parking brake lights stay on - any ideas?

After returning from a two week vacation, my 2012 Spyder RT Limited with 11,000 miles has both the brake failure and parking brake lights staying on. The bike stops fine and the parking brake releases. I did add a small amount of brake fluid, but both lights continue to stay on. Your...

2012 Spyder RT Ltd Side Box cover rubbing - any ideas/fixes?

The latch does release completely. I tried to adjust the hinges but there appears to be no play in...

2012 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited No power to gauges

Thank you very much for the in-depth responses. My first response was based on both of my ex-wives telling me I do not explain things with enough detail. They might be right........... Yesterday I charged the battery in the bike for eight hours on 2 amps. This morning I turned the key to the on...

2012 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited No power to gauges

A couple of things that i neglected to make clear is the bike is "DEAD". It will not crank, it does nothing. The gauges will not come on so it will not go through the pre-check. I had to disconnect the parking brake cable so we could roll it up on the flat bead. Did I mention that it is "DEAD"...

2012 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited No power to gauges

I bought this Can-Am Spyder RT Limited with just over 8,000 miles about two weeks ago. When I first went to look at it it cranked very weakly and wouldn’t start. I returned the following day and it started fine. Over the last two weeks the battery didn’t have enough power to start the bike...
