• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This could be what I'm looking for. Three years would be fine. It's an RSS dust cover? Likely rated for indoor?

    light weight full cover

We looked hard at the half covers. What I am after is to keep the sun off of it during the weeks we ride. This is the first time I have lived in sun country. Half the cars I see have sun damaged paint. I'm told that if I don't use a windshield cover in the cars, the sun will eventually rot...

    light weight full cover

Good evening We bought the can am full cover when we got the bike. We park the spyder outside and the cover works well -most times. There are weeks we ride and weeks we don't. For the weeks we ride, a lighter weight, easier to put on, throw-over cover would be nice. I did a Google search -...

Canada Has A New Prime Minister

Interesting note: I checked the LVN odds yesterday. Trump was 15:1. Jen and Mario were around 7 or 8 to 1, HRC 5:4 Not saying good or bad. Just checked the odds cause I was offered a bet.

Driver hits motorcycle and says "I don't care"...

Off topic easy- That redwood you are driving through. Do you think that was there 60 years ago? I remember something like that. As I recall we drove the car through the hole. Western Oregon would have been the right area. No, it wasn't me driving. As someone else said, I may be older than...

No, that would not be true.

Driver hits motorcycle and says "I don't care"...

Let's take this to the extreme. Pedestrian crosses against the light, outside of the crosswalk - clearly a violation. Car swerves to hit her. To all those that think the biker was partially at fault, where are you on this one? Before you say, Does not apply, or, Not the same thing, I'll say...

    Spyder Handles (Screen Names)

40+ years in Alaska might have something to do with it. Years back I was out in the field with one of the techs. He responded to radio call, "... Just me and the worm." Okay, that fits - only sometimes - I hope. Add, occasionally I've been accused of having ice water for blood. Not true...

Driver hits motorcycle and says "I don't care"...

With all due respect, "EVERYTHING"? Really? I'm not seeing that. The kid got minorly stupid, in relatively non-dangerous manner. The potentially lethal response - to me, that is the "EVERYTHING"

What is considered a Real Motorcycle?

I don't know. We have had a few negative comments about not having a "real" bike, but a lot more positive ones. A quality, touring, two wheeler looks really nice. Our spyder is not in second place. It drives just fine (still on the learning curve - but it is not steep) and looks equally as...

That's our plan. And thanks for welcoming us to the ZOO. After 40+ years in Alaska, most down here think I'm part animal. I don't discourage them. So being part of the zoo feels good. One nice thing about down here is we will get to ride more than a few weeks a year. I was in Deadhorse last...

Good ride today. 250 miles. Little bit on the interstate. Mostly back roads. On the tight corners I paid attention to planting my outside foot and leaning in. Worked well. Lots less jerky steering. I got an execllent indicator on the ride. After we got back, having a beer, relaxing, bride...

Yes, although the color and the se6 over an sm6 were pretty much accidental. That's what the dealer had available in an RTS. Turned out to be both good choices Bride really likes the color. Being as I'm about half color blind, that would be the most important part. As for the se6, my first...

First: Thank you all for the welcomes Working on muscle memory for leaning into the turns and body position/mechanics. I'm thinking the steering wobble is from me. We get buffeted, I'm tensing up on the handlebars and that is what is making the steering wobble. My first inclination is it is...

We joined the club. With the two of us on the Yamaha it just got too heavy for me. I was getting wobbly at the stoplights. Last year I asked soulmate trophy-wife if she wanted to keep riding? Yeah! Then start looking for one with three wheels. No Harley trikes. Look at the Can-Ams...
