• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2018 RT Limited Fuse Block puzzling??

well now.....SPUT ! you are sooo lucky that you can successfully goof around with your fuse block and still have your Spyder run. I ran my 2014 a long time and never had occasion to look at fuses. I fully expect my 2017 to work the same way. I would just rather ryde.

    3M Scotchgard Clear Bra

I used to see that stuff for leading edge of vehicle hoods. Washing the nose of your spyder won't wear the paint off. Putting a pressure washer on a nick in your paint WILL take paint off. As a cleaning aid. Unsure how the film cleans up. At no charge, I will give you a bug and debris tip, that...

    Pre-Ride Squeak - Rear Suspension

anything with bushings, drive belt, airbag suspension, shock absorbers, these all have a certain "static" noise component. without your RT running, you hear EVERYTHING. And you would hear your car groan and moan and squeak when you get in, except the noise is outside.

    Question/observation on gas mileage RTL 1330 SE6

Just like my 2014, the new 2017 (not 1st serviced yet ) gets a pretty routine 35mpg. That is being reasonably sane. What stuns me, is how many people get upset when they learn their cracker box gets better mileage than my RT I think they were looking for ammunition for the spouse. "Honey, look...

Picked up the 2018 RT L

that dash "thing" ? That's why I went with a 17. If this is your first Spyder, you might tread lightly on farkles at first. you will have a much better idea of what you want/need, in a couple thousand miles. You can take comfort in knowing that none of the RTs keep time, or have a very whoopee...

    My first mod.

"late" 2017 and 2018s horn is located "on the bottom" on the right, forward side. This we were told by a contributor, not my personal knowledge. easiest way to ascertain where the horn is located is with your ears.

    Horn Location

okay, this is the "skinny" on the 2017 RT horn location. Early production models ....horn under LH inspection panel. (like previous years) LATER production models... on RH side. Spyder Pops tells us about this in their listing for the Wolo Bad Boy horn. I just installed a horn in my 2017...

Let the farkling continue. Having just taken delivery of my 17 RT, I knew by prior experience just what I needed. So I get to take to the roadway with Champagne already set for me. So far.. First Service

Is this the 1st NEW vehicle you have ever owned ? Probably 90% of the first 100,000 miles of engine wear, is going to occur during the "break in" period. I would say postponing the first service is like putting 2 bullets in play, in Russian roulette. It may work for you, but not for me.

Another new trailer to haul the Spyder

Well, I have an Aluma 72- 120 also. The bi-fold ramp, has a slight natural arch in the middle, that gives my RT and my mower, the clearance needed, with no extra "stuff". Maybe your trailer dealer would swap ramp gates with you ? Also. maybe you can work out a locking pin arrangement on your...

Horrible handling issue with major wind gusts

No vehicle is unaffected by wind. If the wind is 50plus MPH, (not unusual for here), you need to know when to quit. Or if the weather or visibility demands it, slow down, or take a break. If you HAVE to be somewhere, no matter the weather, then I recommend your pickup or car. Ryde safe.
