• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RS Problems to new owner- Any help appreciated!

    problems had the spyder been riding when you got it? was it at operating temp? if it was probably started right up you didn't have to hit the mode button. now that it cold you have to hit the mode button. I have forgot that more then once. I guess you have to do that on all of them.

    New Spyder Owner

    wind buffeting I went from a Road King to a Fatboy Harley with solid wheels, wind was terrible then to a RSS :spyder2:wasn't much difference. One reason is you have so much more body for the wind to hit. You have to get use to it.

    I saw where people removed the right lower panel from their :f_spider: to provide more air, this is what I did. I removed mine cut a 5 1/2 X 6 1/2 in. hole in it and covered it with expanded metal, good air flow and maybe no road debris up around motor.

    2011 RSSm5 adding JT air breather I have a 2011 RSSm5 4000+miles it has 2Brothers Black series single muffler 2 Brothers juice box and now I plan on putting JT air breather on it.
