• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Could this be..2014..!!

Yesterday the group I was riding with stopped for a break at a nice dealership north of Dahlonega, GA . very nice multi manufacturer setup. They had a bunch of Italian made bikes and the Aprilias on display appeared to all have Rotax engines. The 997 cu in engines were 144 horsepower 2 cyl...

When you "Walk away with Key to let computer reset" technique, how about spare key?

I've wondered also. But, every time I do the reset trick, it always works with the spare key still "hidden" on the Spyder. I just went out to make sure it's still there, glad you brought it up. It's been there 2 years. With all the heat, the chip is probably "denatured" anyway Tuck

    Really BRP????? (venting)

My part was the last thing under the original 2 year warranty, so price is not a factor, yet. It was $79 for the darned thing that looked like it came off a Chinese cheapie. Critics please I didn't use any contraction or commonly used nationality reference like slipped through the other day...

    Really BRP????? (venting)

I have had problems with that gear selector indicator thing. They ordered a plastic thingy that supposedly sends correct info to the screen. I was getting E instead of a gear now and then and finally an orange screen that said "Engjne" They looked and decided to order the magical plastic thing...

Rode with over 50 Harleys on Sunday...

Yea, it probably is. When you grew up with the whole world at war, you might have sub conscious flash backs or what ever some might read into that faux pax. I guarantee my Mother would smack me one and rightfully so. Too bad I' m not perfect like some. No excuse for you to beat me up. If you...

Rode with over 50 Harleys on Sunday...

Harley Rides I still ride with my Hog group that I was in for 7 years, so I guess I don't see this attitude at all. Every ride I do with them I offer to be in the back due to the spacing recommended ny MSF. The answer is "ride where you want and ride your own ride." Never been a problem and...

    RT Trunk Luggage Rack

Put mine on last Thurs I've had Show Chrome on a couple Wings and they are so Super. The Spyder one looks terrific and is probably another quality Show Chrome product. The 10 pound limit is just to protect their butts. I will say that I have no doubts about the rack being capable of several...

I.G. All h is farkles are super. 2 years and alm,ost 35,000 miles and his stuff is all doing well. The heel toe thingy is almost the best part, right behind the floorboards and front mini pegs instead of something 10 times the price. I am going to get his new type rubber surface for the...

Just back from a 9 day European Tour

Thanks Thanks for the info and the article. Absolutely amazing how they adapted to the requirements and managed to complete the mission as well as they did. I can't help but think that with todays technology they would simply launch a few cruise missiles and the mission objectives would be...

Just back from a 9 day European Tour

Aug trip Super. Thanks for the nice pics. We have the Military channel here in the states and they show something in ref to the dam busters a lot. I always thought that it was scary flying off carriers and lots of much smaller ships in single radial engined Sikorskys in the middle of the night...

    Spyder with Canadian Heritage Warplane

B25s Fifteen of the raids aircraft made it to China and the other one made it to the Soviet Union. All but three of the crew survived but all the aircraft were lost. Eight crewmen were captured by the Japanese Army in China and three of these were executed. The B-25 that landed in the Soviet...

Motorcyclist killed by Deer . . . That Was Hit By a Car and Flew Into Him . . .

Exactly I hopped on the Spyder a couple hours ago to come down to one of our daughters and within 1/4 mile, six deer came tearing out of the woods about 75 feet or so in front of me. Again, our speed limit on private roads is 25, but no one except my wife and I stick pretty close to it. I always...

Motorcyclist killed by Deer . . . That Was Hit By a Car and Flew Into Him . . .

WOW So sorry to see something like this. Our prayers to the family. The problem we have in GA is that the deer are everywhere in pretty big numbers. If we tried to wait until they are not roaming, the bikes would be in the garage 365 days a year. Just yesterday I was lucky. Twice there were...

Went "caving" today Hi, John. Great idea. Think all enjoyed the tour, I know I sure did. The place is much larger than I had thought it would be. I talked to the two senior citizens running it and asked what was going to happen. One said "See that gate up there? We're gonna put a big lock on...
