• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

This was my first change and I followed all I could on this site to carry the job out. I'm not new to bits of m/c mechanics, but I feel at 70, I tend to over think the job in hand.'. I taped mine, (from a video on this site) but a good tip, thanks.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Last week I changed the rear tyre on my Spyder, When removing the wheel we noticed no split pin on the axle and strangely only 1 hole drilled. We put it all back together and I ordered a Krikit and 36mm spanner and socket (I had to borrow them initially). I contacted the dealer 90 miles from me...

Done - Rear Tire Replacement on my 2020 RT!

I have the Big Blue and you cannot take the shock bolt out because the lift works on the shock as well. In spite of this, the belt walks off easily and the lift is very secure (it does take a bit of time to fit it correctly) but once it's in use, it's a great piece of kit and worth the money!

Has anyone used a Toyo PXTR1 91V Rear tyre? Thoughts, opinions?

I have decided to go with the Vredestein 205/60/15 tyre, mostly because of the comments from BajaRon and others. The forums in my country are fitting Kendas and I have taken notice of this forums comments. I will put my thoughts here when it gets fitted

Has anyone used a Toyo PXTR1 91V Rear tyre? Thoughts, opinions?

Thanks for your reply BajaRon. 50 degrees would be my only concern in Scotland but would drive accordingly. If I choose this tyre, what is your suggestion for running psi?

Has anyone used a Toyo PXTR1 91V Rear tyre? Thoughts, opinions?

Has anyone on here used or have an opinion on a Toyo PXTR1 91V tyre? The original fitment is bald and I don't seem to have a lot of choice in Britain

Be careful of advice... Never Grease your Sway Bar bushings!

@BajaRon, When I was an electrician, I often gave people free advice, but very often a "smarter" man would say different, making me wonder why we bother at all?!
