• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What has been your experience with Tire Plug Kits?

I have a rope and used that in the past, I will be getting a plug type this Spring. I have a Fantech inflator. For me, plugging is normally a temporary measure.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

There's the axle with one hole, nut, and washer; while the axle for the hitch, which rides inside the hollow wheel axle, has its own nut and split pin because it’s not torqued like the Wheel nut at 166 Ft Lb...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Here is the video I used, it’s a little long, but it worked. I got 2 x 36mm wrenches, cut the head of one, used à rubber mallet, and bingo, super easy to setup the belt and re-install the wheel! (Sorry, the owner of the vid has disabled it from playing via any other websites!) It's from this...

Can Am Spyders Resale value isn't great...

We have 2 Spyders; one RT and an F3 for me and the wife. In all our discussions about getting them, not one single time did we mention re-sale value… What we discussed was trips and riding around with friends. The F3 is a new addition, we have been riding 30K Km’s since Aug 2024, 2 up… There...

We got an F3 for my wife this past October... then the winter set in just after she got her M2M license… so into hibernation it went until the Spring!

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Yes, FOBO does transmit all the time, but the batteries last a very long time. I got 30,000 Km's on mine and I changed the batteries at about 20k, but last winter I didn't remove the batteries, this winter I did. That's why I assumed he doesn't have FOBO...

Anyone know of a Seat protector for 2024 Sea to Sky to prevent scratches, but still allow heat?

I used the Lamonster floorboard riser on mine, bad hip and knees replacement. It helps a lot eventually if it’s only 2” riser (I’m 5’11’).

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Not if it’s not the FOBO... I have tried those cheaper units from Amazon for our Smart Car and they didn’t work until you're driving away from home. Rotation is required…

Missing the colored rear panel on 2025 S2S - did the dealer give you one?

Should be included… for 2026 they no longer give them, they supply a full bike cover with Sea To Sky inscription. Much more useful, I most likely will never use my trunk removed cover...

The software update requires would be the hurdle for this - the screen might be the same, but the firmware isn’t.

Wait for new version of BRP GO compatible with Android for 10.25 inch display or get dedicated GPS?

Well it does say On-Road and Spring 2026… so I think it’s real. ;) Snowmobile and watercraft are not On-Road. :) Anyway, time will tell. I will still have a GPS, because some places we go don’t have tower or they are very slow…

Wait for new version of BRP GO compatible with Android for 10.25 inch display or get dedicated GPS?

Well well, nice to see, maybe it will work better?! I do have a Garmin GPS on mine, still need tower to start maps and sometimes we go places where it is very very slow or non existent, so the GPS is essential for us.

Have you mounted a remote bus bar away from the battery? Where did you put it?

I installed a distribution box under the servicing panel on the left side (sitting on it) (neutonic element +)

Does anybody use a GPS Tracking device for monitoring their Spyder's location?

I have the controller either on the handlebar or in the trunk. If I go away, I simply take the controller in my pocket.
