• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

When I click on the link, I'm told that particular item is out of stock and may never return. Unfortunately, two different rings are suggested; one an 8mm and the other a 10mm. Is the stock Spyder shock bolt 10mm?

    2019 vs 2020 F3 Limited

I recently test rode an F3T-Limited, 2020, and it's suspension and handling seemed quite a step up from the 2015 F3 base model, equipped with a premium custom-built shock and better front shocks, as well, I used to own. When did the suspension and handling take its giant leap forward?

2020 RT "base" and Limited suspension differences?

Good info. I'm inclined to look for the base model and add the topbox/passenger accommodation. I can get by with merely four speakers (!), and leave the rear suspension set for the two of us with no further ado. Does one's cell phone Bluetooth to either audio system?

2020 RT "base" and Limited suspension differences?

I rode a new demo model RT Limited at a local dealership this past week, and was decently impressed with the suspension on this model. It was night and day compared to the 2014 RT Limited I once owned. I've since wondered if there's any difference between the suspension of the standard "base"...

Differences between '20 and '21 RT?

Thanks for that info; what I wanted to hear. Looks like there are a few discounted left-over 2020 models around the country if a person is willing to travel a bit. Maybe not the best time of year to contemplate a fly-n-ride to Minnesota, but that's why they sell heated underwear.

Differences between '20 and '21 RT?

Are there any differences or upgrades/improvements the 2021 RT models have compared to the 2020 RT versions? I'm shopping for a lightly used, pre-owned base model RT, and need to know if there are any deal breakers for me if I settle for the first year model.

Long time mc rider 72 with passenger +10 years on me.

switch to a Spyder? Similar story here. I'm 77 and have ridden since my teens. The ladyfriend (74) is a darn good two-up 2-wheel passenger, and a total curve junkie. We've ridden in most of the states and provinces, and wouldn't take enything for the memories we've created. Three years ago...

    great last fall leaves outing

Leesburg? Bushrat: Looks like you managed to hit some of the South's finest pavement on your way to Leesburg. We have a place in Zephyrhills, a short distance southwest of you. Let's remember to connect for a ride this winter. I'm trailering the F3 down initially, hoping to sell it in the...

    great last fall leaves outing

The fall colors were in their last glow when we spent a few days camping at Ironhorse Motorcycle Lodge/Campground in Stecoah, NC these past few days. This location is immediately south of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, close to Lake Fontana, and in the middle of some truly wonderful...

    F3 Front Sprocket Inspection

changing the sprocket Is changing out the sprocket a DIY job or does it require a special puller or other tool the average Joe isn't likely to have in the garage? Bolt head size (as measured across the flats)?

    How long is a Spyder

Ryders: I need an actual measurement front to back of the Spyder. Pretty much any model will get me in the ballpark, but... My current ride is a 2013 ST, with rear sport rack. Situation is that I'm building a shed here in Florida but the trike is back home in Georgia. Sure don't want to...

Making the accessories fit together - Corbin interferes with BRP rear rack

Success Picture says it all! The seat finally fits, both with the other accessories, and -- most important -- the lady! On to the next farkle: TricLED fender lights.

Making the accessories fit together - Corbin interferes with BRP rear rack

where there is a will..... ...and the presence of pneumatic abrasive tools! Give a kid a hammer and sooner or later, he'll find something to break. Did I mention I had to un-rivet the seat cover and grind away parts of the seat base? Once I got the back edge to clear, I discovered it was...

Making the accessories fit together - Corbin interferes with BRP rear rack

I found a great deal on a new BRP rear rack, which provided a platform on which to attach a Givi plate for holding a top box Then, I found a great deal on a used (two-piece) Corbin saddle. Unfortunately, I found interference between these two accessories. The back edge of the passenger saddle...

    layout of switches on dash

I have a plain vanilla 2013 ST. Can someone with a farther-up-the-foodchain (e.g. ST-Limited) model tell me what the four functions are of the rectangular switches by the base of the handlebars? I know the one on the left-most position is for the Park Brake. The other three....? Am I right...
