• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Airhawk R vs. Medium Cruiser

Airhawk R I have the Airhawk Medium Cruiser on my ATV and the Airhawk R on my Spyder. The "R" is much more comfortable. They don't require much air ..... just a little. CapNCrunch : =)

    Riding Naked!

COOL OFF WITH A MESH RIDING JACKET +++++ Like a lot of riders, I am particularly "allergic to the heat". I'm also an ATGATT guy. A couple years ago I found the correct combination of riding gear, and it works every time. For all seasons I have found that wearing a combination of the...

PRESSING THE STARTER BUTTON TAKES OFF THE YEARS .................. STARTER JUST TURNED 81, AND THAT BUTTON SHEDS ABOUT 30 YEARS IMMEDIATELY. Been riding bikes for over 30 years, and it never fails. My FOUR YEAR Spyder experience is at least as good as my 2 wheel experiences of the past...

Gloves i what a new pair so what are you wearing

BIONIC MEN'S M/C GLOVES After years of trying to find "the right gloves", for spring, summer & fall riding, I have decided that the Bionic Glove Company has the best ones for me. They are the "BIONIC MEN'S MOTOCYCLE GLOVES". They are all-season, except winter, of course. You can GOOGLE them...

    Landscape Trailer

I use a "landscape" trailer for my RT S SE-5 I've been using a landscape trailer since 2011. The angle of the loading ramp (tail gate) is dependent on the contour of the ground. If the nose wants to drag, when loading, try using a 2X4 or 4X4 under the lip to elevate the gate just a little...

    Deer whistles

DEER WHISTLES I used to have them, for years, on my GoldWing, then on my Burgman, then on my FJR1300. Got nailed by a deer on my GoldWing, and another on the Burgman. So, that's my sad story and I'm stickin' to it. I don't have them on the Spyder! GOOD LUCK, CapNCrunch, in Western Montana.

I think I am at a croos roads

R.E. GROUP RIDING Well, my friend, I can sympathise with you. Group riding takes a lot of patience, for sure. Over the years I've ridden with groups of folks I didn't know, and those rides were similar to your experience. We try, now, to ride with friends with similar riding styles. And...

    Group Riding Courtesy

HOLD YOUR POSITION We tell our group riders to hold their position. Don't go barreling ahead, passing everyone else. That's VERY bad manners. If you want to ride closer to the front, just wait until a rest stop, and then change your position. CapNCrunch : =)

    Helmet advice

HJC SY-MAXII I've been wearing an HJC SY-MAXII for a few years, now. Very comfortable and protective. I did a high-side a few years ago, going 65MPH on a downhill curve. Was in the hospital for 7 days with 7 broken ribs, a broken finger and a collapsed lung. That helmet saved my life! I...

tric LED full size brake pedal

Stephen Allan's full Size Brake pedal was ordered on 01/18, and was delivered on 01/24. Great service! It included the necessary instructions and it installed in minutes, and answers the serious issue of having to "hunt" for the little , OEM brake pedal on a quick stop. Kudos to Steve.
