• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There has to be someone to try this with a Spyder?

I think this is the same guy who strapped my son's ex ATV to the roof of his van....

    2014 RT silencer options

Yep - sticking with stock, until Yosh gets off the dime. Current choices are either too loud or too costly. $900 for a slip on muffler... Really??

    Exciting stuff!

Tailgunner=TBR=Too Loud for me. The Yosh is the perfect cost/sound/performance choice. I loved it on my 990, and will wait for the 1330 version - which they say they don't have nor are working on. If you want the Yosh to be a tad louder, remove the baffle.....

    6'1" and not a cluie

The vented F4 is much wider than the BRP version. I dumped my vented BRP for the F4, and am very happy with the change. I have no idea why BRP narrowed the vented touring windshield, but they did.

    Alernate Gas Milage Thread

Actually, as with my cages - the BEST milage is on the freeway, with cruise engaged. We can't help but modulate the fuel over bumps and irregularities w/o cruise.

Base 2015 RT SE6 - Info and Pictures required

Most of the left over '14s are LTDs, and are still priced over $25K. Looking on Fleabay & CycleTrader, There seems to be a dealer in Central Florida with a few Base units left over. Conversely, a new '14 "S" is currently about the same price as a new '15 Base, and the "LTD" is about $2K more.

    Fed Regulations for 3-wheeled vehicles

Half the cost of current new cars is directly related to mandated safety requirements, and 16% of the balance to meeting fuel economy and emissions regulations. Goodbye $20K Slingshot and (vaporware) $7K Elio.

    Hello all

Some other windshield options: #1: Madstad - comes with lots of adjustability; #2 F4. Neither are cheap, but they are no more expensive than BRPs versions.

Out here, it's 65 in the slow lane - 75+ in the others. That's why I prefer the winding back roads... where 55-60 is fast.

    6'1" and not a cluie

All of the windshields worth the money are aftermarket windshields. Use the stock windshield as your assessment tool - it will either be a 23" or 25", and most likely the 25". If it's too tall, get a shorter one, if it's too short (like mine was) Look at the F4 +3", which won't be. I'm 6'4"...

    Trading up ( maybe)

Mike's got it - minor changes like color.... My dealer sold a new 2014 RT "S" SE6 for $21,500 yesterday, so there are good deals out there still. The best deal would be for a BASE, but that's your checkbook...

    For the photogs

I love my Sony NEX 6 - but, when I'm on the Spyder, if it's not in my pocket, I don't use it. My iPhone is OK, but I prefer a good pocketable Canon for my photography, and have an old 10MP Canon, that I've used for years, and it keeps on ticking...

    Alernate Gas Milage Thread

Since the guy with the 2012 seems hyper sensitive, I thought I'd post a "more open" milage thread. In stock form, my 2010 RT never gave me over 25 mpg - then I modified it with a CAT delete, Yosh R77, new plugs & wires, non-ETOH gas only, and the milage went to the low to mid 30s (32-36). I...
