• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Windshield glare

I use "Downey" to clean my BRP windshield. Almost anything else will degrade the windshield - beware! If the covering of the chrome bits doesn't rectify the problem, you may have a distorted windshield. Does the glare remain when you move your head to different positions? If it goes away...

    Vertika 2013 RTs

I agree that Vertika parts are expensive, but $12K for a nice RT, $2500 for some neat parts and paint, $1000 for a R77 and CAT delete, and your out under $16K, or what they are asking for used 11s or 12s with more milage... Just a thought...

    Vertika 2013 RTs

Has anyone modified a 2013 RT with Vertika's cooling options? Did it work? Cost? I recently saw a low milage used 2013 RT LTD on a local CraigsList for $12500 OBO, and some dealers won't even take one as a trade-in. If the Vertika system works, and isn't too expensive, that might be a good...

    Gas Prices--How Are Yours?

As of 2/12, we're up $0.50 from our low prices, and still going up every day. Diesel never dropped lower than $2.90, and is back over $3 now. Those of us on the Left Coast have to live with politicians that see everyone on a bicycle.

HELP - Eyes Effected by Helmet and Goggle Buffeting / Vibration Issue

Personally, I loathe full helmets - one of the many reasons to ride a Spyder, is they aren't necessary, even in bad weather (RT) - you might want to talk to either F4 windshields, or Laminar Lip (a much less expensive option.)

    Portland International Auto Show

This year, one of our local dealers has a pavilion, with Victory and Ducati two wheel bikes, as well as Spyders & Slingshots - - AND the QuadSki ($48000). http://www.gibbssports.com/quadski.

    2014 RT

If I had to choose between a new 12 or new 14, it would be the 14 hands down. If I still had my 2010, and was considering a 2014 - I'd still have my 2010 - but I didn't and I don't.. Otherwise, I'm really happy with my 14 RT - no regrets.

    to much snow

You have winter, they have summer... riding in 100+ heat is about as much fun as riding in the snow... We haven't had any snow or ice (a bit of frost is all) this winter - unusual, but not unheard of. Lots of rain - which is different here. We don't get the East's gullywashers, rather, an all...

Jerry - there's a lot of locals for hands on help too - even a Spyder riding club or two, if you're into that.

    Russell Day Long Seat

Seats are a very personal preference - mine is Corbin, with the Lamonster cut - but the stocker on the 2014 is just fine for me, far better than the stock seat on my 2010.

    Gas Milage

If you don't want to slow down, or lighten the load, then: 1. Use non-ETOH gas (it will take two full tanks to clean you system out, and allow the oxy sensor to adapt.) 2. Delete the CAT, and use an aftermarket exhaust, like the Yosh R77.
