• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    motorcycle camping trailers

Sold my Aspen Classic last year. What a great trailer that was. Towed it with my Goldwing and had many good trips with it. If I were to buy another one it would be a Roll-A-Home standard model. Don't plan on towing with my Spyder though. :spyder:

    More M/C industry troubles

That's a shame. I sold my Aspen Classic last year. What a great trailer it was. Towed it behind my Goldwing for thousands of miles.:(

2020 RTL: Does “Eco” mode actually work

I use ECO mode 100% of the time. Fuel mileage is consistently around 39mpg using non-ethanol fuel. I find the power on ECO mode more than satisfactory for everyday driving. Everyone to their own.:spyder:

    Genius Maps

Short answer, YES you can use it on your phone at any time. Hooking it up to your Spyder just puts in on the instrument panel display and thru your speakers, but you can use it any time, even riding a bicycle :f_spider:

CannonBall seat, is it worth to buy???

As Martin said in his video, the Cannonball front seat, eh - not much difference than his OEM F3 seat - but the passenger seat is where the difference is. When comparing the 2018-2019 F3 base and F3T seats to the seat that came standard on the F3 Limited, I noticed a huge difference in the...

    I need a quick favor.....

Didn't realize that the RT was wider than the F3. Center to Center on my 2019 F3 Ltd is roughly 51.5" :f_spider:

    Anyone With an RPM Warranty?

Same here. Went through Nike Hercules school at Fort Bliss, TX in 1968. Then Detroit metro area for 2.5 years (Union Lake Nike site and HQ Battery in Mt Clemens) then overseas for another two years.

    Anyone With an RPM Warranty?

Yes, I see that it says not available in FL. However, at the time I purchased my Spyder in Jan 2019, my selling dealer offered me the BEST warranty for around $1200. From information on this forum I called Sierra Cycles in Arizona and purchased it from them for $570 as shown on the attachment...

    Anyone With an RPM Warranty?

Don't know where you got your information but BRP B.E.S.T. warranties are indeed sold in Florida. Very expensive however. I purchased mine from Sierra Cycles in Arizona (a can am dealer) for half what my FL dealer wanted.

    Navigation

It's actually very easy. First download the BRP Connect app onto your phone. Then, download Sygic maps to your phone. I only downloaded the states maps that I was most likely to use right away. You can download all if you wish but it takes up more storage on your phone. Then, familiarize...

    Extended warranty

Yep, I live in Florida and purchased my BEST extended warranty from Sierra Cycles in Arizona. Since my bike came with a bonus three year warranty, I only had to buy an additional two years. Best price I could find and absolutely great people to deal with.:f_spider:

    Navigation

I use Sygic maps (downloaded on to my android smart phone) and love it. One-time purchase cost was around $65-70 as I remember. The way I use it is as follows: Instead of programing an entire route, with waypoints, I just put all of my waypoints in as favorites. When I'm approaching the...

    New Spyder -laser alignments

The shop I bought mine from (a large powersports dealer in the Tampa area) does not do laser alignments. When I inquired about it, the service manager asked me why I wanted an alignment . . was I having a problem?. When I explained that I just wanted it checked before getting too many miles on...

    F3 Limited Trailering Cover

Thank you so much bushrat for the excellent reply and for confirming the windshield sizing information. I had suspected all along that abrasion from the wind on the cover could potentially be a problem and you have confirmed that also. I was surprised to hear, however, that while using the...

    F3 Limited Trailering Cover

I will need to trailer my Spyder at some point in the future and would like to cover the bike while traveling. BRP sells a "Trailering Cover", part no. 219400768 (see pic) that looks like it would do the job. However, I believe that I've read somewhere that it was patterned to fit over the F3...
