• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just wanted to share a riding story - hitting a swarm of yellow jackets!

In another thread @Knizar mentioned how honey bees can be a problem for our paint jobs on the Spyder. That brought back an old memory that I just have to share. I was on a cross country trip with a buddy who was riding about a quarter of a mile in front. We were on a two lane highway in wide...

RT Rear Trunk looks likely to wear where I press it to close it - is there anything to stop that?

Thanks for the good suggestions, I thought this might be a common enough issue that somebody would address it with an accessory of some type instead of us having to get creative and come up with something ourselves. 🤷‍♂️

RT Rear Trunk looks likely to wear where I press it to close it - is there anything to stop that?

After getting in and out of my trunk a few times, it looks like over time that I could wear the finish where I have to press down to lock the lid? Would there be anything available that I could attach to the top of that lid just above the lock?

Just had an Internet learning experience!

The hotspot from the phone is pretty much a necessity on those cross country trips! While I didn’t need it often, it was very helpful at times. Like others said watch your data use. I never had a problem with that, but it doesn’t take a lot to check the weather, look at routing changes, etc..

Why is my Tire pressure so low?!

I have not found it easy to get a recommendation on the Tire Pressure for my RT either? When I look for it in my manual on page 104 all I’m finding is a suspension pressure? From my limited amount of reading, I believe mine is probably set too high, but I hesitate to get down to make any changes...

The Spyder is certainly not a Honda - but the reliability sure would be nice! Still not switching tho!!

Just made the purchase of a new 2024 RT Limited! Should I be giving serious consideration to buying an extended warranty?:cautious:

    Welcome, Monk/Bob

Thank you for the welcome. I spent many years on a Goldwing, managed to put in about 450,000 miles. Because of some vertigo/dizziness problems and a couple of wrecks that it caused (probably more my stubbornness) I have not been on a bike in 4 and 1/2 years. As much as I tried to push the fun I...
