• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Springtime Pre-flight Inspection - don't skip over the first brake fluid change!

As I said, do a search online as to how to do this with a meter.

Do you use Color Correct O-rings?

I bought the Can-Am/XPS kit for my F3 and all the O-rings that came with it matched up in color to the OEMs.

Springtime Pre-flight Inspection - don't skip over the first brake fluid change!

You can also test your brake fluid's moisture content using a multimeter, this is actually how these pens work too. Do a search and you'll see how to do this. I have a testing pen along with a number of multimeters. Both methods work.

Seat latch won't open - any new ideas?

Such a stupid way to do things! I just don't understand why BRP adds complexity to a system that does NOT need to be complex. As we ALL know, the more complex a system is, the more of a chance that it'll break at some point. KISS Keep It Simple Stupid! Mechanical cables connected to the...

Does your Phone Charge via BRP Connect's USB Plug/Cable?

The glovebox USB port can source 2.1 amps @5vdc which is 10.5 watts. I'm quite sure that the GPS chip in the phone, along with the aps mentioned, are not going to draw more current than it takes to charge the phone's battery.

Looks like the 2024 F3L gets 5 position heated grips?

If the '24 manuals are anything like the previous years, just because something shows up in the manual, does not mean that it's on your Spyder.

    F3 w/aftermarket bags needs a cover - any thoughts?

This cover fits my Spyder perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GXFQ7H9?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_5

Does your Phone Charge via BRP Connect's USB Plug/Cable?

If you're plugging your phone into the correct place on the Spyder, and your phone is not charging. The fault could be the cable that you're using. If the cable isn't 'up to the task' no charging will take place at all. This is the cable that I'm using for my iPhone 15 with the Spyder, and it...

    Random thought for the day

Not sure about the energy/matter argument mentioned above but these below, oh yes! Albert Einstein famously said, “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”. "The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits."...

    Random thought for the day

This is funny and I just now read it to my wife, knowing EXACTLY how she would reply, and she didn't disappoint me. ;) "If you would have put it back where it belongs, I wouldn't have had to move it."

BRP side boxes locked, no key, any ideas?

The key doesn't fit the side or rear bags. What are you doing about starting the machine? Does the key fit the ignition?

Hi, my insurance wants to see the Vin number stamp, any ideas where it will be? 2015 RT

Ride your Spyder on over to the insurance office and tell them to help themselves. ;)

HowTo: Setting the front tire pressures equally each side.

One would think that tire pressure info should be easy to find in the paper owner's manual, one would be wrong. In looking at the table of contents, no listing for tire info at all. But somewhere it says something about the location of the safety stickers/labels on the machine somewhere...

HowTo: Setting the front tire pressures equally each side.

There are several stickers on a Spyder where the tire pressures are stated, also in the owner's manual. Check the frunk, check the book, check under the seat.

HowTo: Setting the front tire pressures equally each side.

I get wanting to be precise! I'm all about it with setting the pressures in any of my tires, anal in fact. I see how the T setup with the air hoses might work but when you're removing the air hoses from the tire valves, some air escapes, right? A small amount to be sure but there goes your...

Do other Short people have an issue reaching the 2025 RT Sea to Sky brake pedal?! What are others like me doing?

I was talking about my F3, but I now realize that the RT has floorboards that would not need adjustment like the F3 needs. So, just never mind me. lol
