• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can I use the blank switch for Accessory power/spotlights on my 2023 F3S? What are the wires already attached?

You need to buy a multi-meter and learn how to use it. Buy one at an auto supply store and ask them to show you how to use it. 1. How to read DC volt on your car battery right there on their lot. 2. How to do continuity test on the Ohm setting...

Are Spyders becoming popular, or not?

We see others in the Phoenix area all the time.

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

As a network design engineer at a large nation wide bank, the bosses always said bring me a solution, not a problem. So maybe people need to suggest solutions to BRP and not complain about problems. That might get them to listen.

Heim joint is still clicking, what should I try next?

The bolts that goes through the blocks that mount the bar in the frame are supposed to be tighten until the hinge area between the two halves starts to bulge out slightly. If they're not, the blocks move, causing a noise.

Directional turn signal indicators on my 2015 RT won't cancel on their own - any thoughts/fixes?

This is from the 2018 Service manual. The turn signals work with the can bus. The switch is part of the expensive left hand switch module, and difficult/expensive to change switch.

Directional turn signal indicators on my 2015 RT won't cancel on their own - any thoughts/fixes?

I do not think it is a switch issue if it is returning to the center position. Somewhere in the electrical magic a sensor tells the electronic brain, that you that finished the turn and you are driving straight again. Then the electronic brain says, thanks I will cancel the turn signal.

Dead Spyder - any ideas on this?

I had friends doing the four corner ride, and stopped at a HD dealer on the East Coast for oil changes. Week out, sorry! We are doing the four corners ride! They drop everything and had them back on the road in short order.

Rear tire options - any suggestions?

Best guess is BRP gets great pricing from Kenda in exchange for saying that is the only tire that should be installed. Like I have posted earlier, what if Ford had told owners of Explorers that were rolling over, that Firestone was the only tire we endorse for the your Explorer.

Dead Spyder - any ideas on this?

My first ride on the first Spyder, we stopped at Micky D's for lunch and the Spyder would not start. We were 44 miles from home base. I finally figured out that she had mounted from the right side and put her hand on the handlebar, turning off the red switch. I had a CFMoto quad and the start...

Not a red kill switch issue?

Need some advice about a suitable cover sturdy enough to protect my Spyder if left outside for several months?

If you do not ride in winter months there, maybe you should consider paying to store it at an indoor storage storage place. Find a friend with indoor space or a private party garage. Some dealers will show store inside for a fee.

Another Ryker Sway Bar thread - Gravel Handling! Any upgraded sway bar owners? Do they make any difference, for better or worse, on Gravel?

My point was about a sway bar on a three wheel vehicle off highway. On my Kawasaki KRX 1000 I ran with the front sway bar disconnected most of the time. It helped keep traction with all four tires. A stiffer sway bar on a three vehicle off road at slow speeds is not the same as on a highway!

What is the best Location for an RT on a 7 x 14 dual axle trailer? How far ahead of the front axle should I mount the chocks?

With that tow vehicle and a tandem axle trailer placement is not going to be too much of an issue. If it was mine, I would just center the trike on the front axle.

Another Ryker Sway Bar thread - Gravel Handling! Any upgraded sway bar owners? Do they make any difference, for better or worse, on Gravel?

A three wheeled vehicle will aways have all three wheels down vs a four wheeler that can lift 1 or 2 wheels at times.

Fitted new EBC pads, now I have a Brake noise - anyone else? Any fixes?

It's called helmet to helmet banging when riding two up!

Fitted new EBC pads, now I have a Brake noise - anyone else? Any fixes?

To stop disc brakes from squeaking, you should put isopropyl alcohol or disc brake cleaner on the rotors, or apply anti-squeal brake paste strictly to the back of the brake pads. Never put oil, grease, or lubricants on the braking surfaces of the pads or rotors.
