• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the correct Belt Tension to use? Are all Spyders the same?

For that style a belt that is too tight IMHO, especially in the air. I wouldn't go more than 140-160 on the ground. There is probably a revised stat on that. Maybe someone has that info.

What is the correct Belt Tension to use? Are all Spyders the same?

Yes, that is pretty tight. Our Damper only adds about 7 lbs when installed. With the Damper on, on the ground reading should be no more than 160-180.

    This is belt vibration, right?

For the F3, the cost of our Vibration Damper is $135.80 including shipping. That includes a warranty of 1 year on all parts and 2 years on the roller and bearings. The RT one is slightly higher. https://www.roadsterrenovations.info/products

Roadster Renovations Air Bag Armour (Nb: Doc is No longer active on this site!)

Eddie, I thought long and hard about all that and I decided the way the hoses are plumbed, that stuff will go everywhere if added through the schrader. And if it gummed up the dump valve, or the check valve at the compressor, you would have quite a mess. Just like adding the ARRA to the bottom...

What is the correct Belt Tension to use? Are all Spyders the same?

I usually suggest 160-180, but others like to go lower.

    Happy 4th of July!

Whether you have pegs or floorboards, many ryders do not like the brake pedal height. This kit is a smaller version of the kit 1. It allows you to adjust your brake pedal in 1/4" increments so you can get that perfect height. No cutting required. All you have to is install it and go. This mod...

    F3 Front Sprocket Inspection

I went back through the threads here and I cannot find anyone that has had a output shaft bearing failure. In each case where the shaft was replaced it was due to the splines being worn, causing multiple front sprocket failures. Also, the symptoms you reported don't sound like a bearing failure...

    Drive Belt alignment issues

Both our RT and F3 have been correctly aligned for over a year. They are the same every time we stop. We run Vibration Dampers on both. Not saying that a Vibration Damper will stop a wandering belt, but Mike does not use one on his Spyder. I believe that properly aligned and tensioned belts...
