• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    FedEx is the worst!!!

You may be more right than you know. I just read where 9,500 truck drivers have been pulled because they couldn't read English. And it may be just a drop in the bucket.

They all have their problems. But I agree, FedEx is the worst.

Can an RS be made a comfortable cruiser for 2

You've got that right! And if you ride it in the rain, it won't last. I've had 3 systems. I even loaded the controller with silicone. It lasted longer, but eventually failed. I averaged about 2 years on those. To be fair, they do not claim to be waterproof. I think they even say not to expose...

Winter Maintenance - Should I be concerned about Moisture in the Tailpipe?

In my opinion, you're way over thinking this. We see a lot more damage from rodents on parked vehicles than anything else. A full tank of non-ethanol fuel is also a good idea.

Considering a 2012 RT - Any one out there have good words on them?

The 998 V-Twin is a great engine. If ridden as designed, it will last a very long time. The 2012 was the best V-Twin RT model made. Most parts are still available for the older RT's. This is more true for the 2012 than the 10 or 11 models. We've only had issues with a few components on the...

#8 - Wires to the Badlands! (Part-2) You can find Part-1 at post #37. Lamont did go to the 3-Wheeled Sturgis event in Deadwood. The Spyder had gotten a great deal of bad press in those early days. As many of you coming off 2-wheels will attest, there can be a pretty steep learning curve going...

You're right. AI is a bugger. But this is the real deal. Not in production, nor are there plans to do so. But it's not fabrication. I want to see how it stops... Click Here:

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

The Spyder is no pavement burner, but it's no slouch either. That night at the drag strip, Spyder against Spyder, was more fun than you can imagine.

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

I really liked Yazz. She was a lot of fun. She was riding an SM, but that night at the drag strip she was not doing well against other riders. She was usually a very happy person, but I could see she was getting frustrated with her performance. I wanted to help so I said, 'You're using the...

Cat delete, is it worth the money

Other applications using the 1330 have turbos. We have a side-by-side in the shop right now with one.

Cat delete, is it worth the money

You should look into the turbocharger. I don't know if they are still available. But that makes a fair amount of difference.

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

No, this is a different 'Doc'. Doc Humphries came along later. I'm sorry, I cannot remember Doc's last name. He was a specialized surgeon in Florida, if I remember correctly. I haven't heard from him in years. But he and Forrest used to be big celebrities in the Spyder community in those early...

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

Yes, Doc got involved with BMW who was, at the time, experimenting with the reverse trike market. I believe that Doc was riding one of their GG Taurus prototypes. But they were going to be very expensive. I think in the $80k range if I remember correctly. Doc also shepherded Forrest around in...
