• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Having a Hard time getting on my Sea to Sky - any hints/advice?

Have you tried leapfrogging it from behind, similar to the way the Lone Ranger gets on his horse Silver ??

What's the Best Sounding Exhaust for my RTL?

I run a Two Brothers Racing exhaust connected to the RLS Polished Cat Delete pipe. LOVE the sound !! The combination provides a nice sound and is not obnoxiously loud .... .... probably because I don't hear low frequencies very well, LOL.

    Peacekeeper6 Mod Thread

Finally got a chance to test out the Turn Signal Button/Shifter Pad by TCBoone and FrogmanDave during a ride last Saturday. Turn Signal Button - works great. No more erroneous cancellation of the turn signals and looking like an idiot to other motorists. The safety factor is vastly improved...

    Peacekeeper6 Mod Thread

    26) Redesigned Turn Signal Button/Shifter Pad by TCBoone and FrogmanDave Difficulty Level - 0.5 (probably THE easiest mod I've installed) Tips - Use a small-bladed screwdriver to pop the turn signal button. Gorilla force is not required, but be careful it doesn't pop off and fly past your...

A small Safety Mod to our 2022 RTL with a big improvement!

Just installed these on my bike. Haven't had the chance to try them out yet (too windy and cold), but from what everyone has said, it's mod that is elegantly simple and makes a huge difference. Thanks to TCBoone and frogmandave on the invention of these ingenious devices.

    BattleBorn Spyder member hit

Saw those pics. Glad you're ok, Dave. I've been nearly sideswiped twice by people who change lanes without looking over their shoulder at highway speeds. That is why my bike has all the LED lights it can handle. Hope you find another F3 soon so that you can participate in our group...

What bike did you ride to get your motorcycle license ??

Many, MANY years ago, in my 20s, I decided to get a motorcycle. I figured I'm grown up enough and can ride a bike despite my parent's disapproval. So when I moved to FL and researched what a good beginner street bike would be. I bought a brand new Kawasaki Ninja 250R (as though the "R" would...

Is it worth taking the Can Am riding class?

If it'll help you save a little on your insurance, it's worth it.

Love it or hate it - you be the judge

I would have them on my bike if I was involved in a death race around an oval track. (I really should stop watching "Ben Hur" every time it comes on the TV ....).

    Downshifting vs Braking

You're not going to start a war with me because I basically feel the same way and do the same thing.

First Service Done & it feels smoother! What did they do?

It's most likely your brain's response after spending a lot of money on something frivolous, LOL.

Anyone else a loner and not a group rider?

I ride both solo AND with a group. Riding solo offers me a chance to "meditate" and achieve a Zen-like mental state, especially on a LOOOOONG desert road with nobody around. Lucky for me, NV has TONS of roads like this. When I ride in a group, I find it more relaxing to ride with friends I...

Once again, BRP didn't show up for Daytona Bike Week!!

It both does matter and doesn't. If BRP wants more market share, they need to be out there with their latest offerings. The people that attend those rallies are their true target demographic. And at the same time, it doesn't. If BRP is happy with their production numbers and profits, then...

Do you like riding your Spyder during motorcycle rallies ??

I like riding my RTL during Reno's annual Street Vibrations Motorcycle Rally. Not only is the region filled with great riding, but I just like to look at the many bikes that I encounter. Of course, I see the diehard Harley guys walk by my ride like it doesn't exist, BUT I also meet people...

Once again, BRP didn't show up for Daytona Bike Week!!

That is why BRP needs to be there. I'm a Harley fan myself, but I am not as closed-minded as other Harley diehards. IMHO, when older Harley guys aren't able to hold their heavy bikes up any longer, they're gonna shed their "Harley Ego" and opt for a safer machine, a machine that's cheaper and...

What oil are you using for your 1330 engine?? Tips & hints on oil change?

Once again, BRP didn't show up for Daytona Bike Week!!

Btw, I've been to both rallies. Sturgis is WAY better with regards to places to ride. Daytona may have better-looking bartenders, but IMHO, if you're only able to go to only ONE motorcycle rally, make it Sturgis.

Once again, BRP didn't show up for Daytona Bike Week!!

No disrespect since you're one of the better contributing members here, but I think you're wrong. I ride both a Harley and a Can-Am. To ME, it's all about wind therapy whether on 2 wheels or 3. Daytona MAY attract the Harley snobs, but it also attracts others who enjoy the freedom of the open...

Once again, BRP didn't show up for Daytona Bike Week!!

I don't get that either. Perhaps BRP is ashamed of being around vendors specializing in two-wheelers, who knows ?!?! But TBH, BRP is shooting themselves in the foot. There's an aging (riding) population that continues to grow and this is the EXACT target demographic BRP needs to concentrate...

I wonder if this will be an option on the '24 models?

Anybody know where I can find this accessory ?? Also, gonna need some ideas on where to mount the twin .50 calibers and Sidewinder heat-seeking missiles. Thanks in advance ……
