• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Turn your speakers up and try this!

All I know is that since I tried (unsuccessfully) to see what all the fuss was about on the original post, my keyboard plays notes on some keys anytime I type anything into the forum - including while I am logging in. Can someone tell this computer dummy how I can fix this? Been listening to...

2025 Planning 11th Memorial Trip to Central Texas (in memory of my wife)

I will share several rides in the CenTex area I have enjoyed because of the winding roads and/or scenery. First, if you decide to hit Burnet (based on info in post #10 above), be sure to ride Park Road 4 between Texas 29 and US-281. And keep your eyes peeled on the East side of the road for a...

Oil Pressure Warning light stays off before cranking, normal or not?

Cobranut - I know this thread is a couple months old, but I have some answers to your original request. We have two early-model F3-S’s. On both my wife’s SE6 and my SM6, at key-on, all warning lights illuminate, then go off. No oil pressure light illuminated with key on but engine stopped. Hope...

    F3-S performance rear tire - can I run a Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS?

Had a thought the other night (occasionally dangerous, and usually expensive!): could I run a Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS extreme performance summer tire on the F3-S? Comes in a factory-sized 225/50R15. Here’s my thoughts/reasons. Wanting a tire that will hook up VERY well for the couple times...

    Spyder Sightings

Saw a Manta Green F3-S followed by a Harley trike, Eastbound, just West of Rio Hondo on FM508 about 11:45am. Then, I saw a Circuit Yellow RT Southbound on Dixieland Road in Harlingen about 12:30pm. I was on my '17 F3-S. Outside temps were about 91°F.

Has anyone purchased a 2024 F3S? Do they still come with the rear cowl?

Sorry, @broderp, just saw this reply of yours. You bring up something I did not know - about the rear peg fillers. I bought my ‘17 Daytona “new”, never titled, w/ less than 80 miles showing, in May of 2022. It had the factory pillion seat on it at the time. I asked the salesman about the cowl...

Never Say a Spyder Can't Flip

I believe something caused the trailer to step out on them, which pulled the rear end of the Spyder around. Could have been dodging something in the road, could have been a misalignment of the asphalt highway to concrete bridge joint that bounced the trailer at an angle …. Who knows. Prayers...

Recall - 2017-2019 RT and F3 Engine Output Shaft Can Break!

Looks like mine is safe. My swingarm sticker shows a production date of 06/2016, which predates the October 29, 2016, date that the ‘17 models started with the new process. Glad I won’t have to be relying on BRP’s ‘quality’ techs to get my machine torn apart and put back together *correctly*...

1330 - is there a Torque & HP dyno chart available anywhere?

‘17 F3-S w/ SM6 manual transmission. Car tires were my only mod at the time. Here’s some numbers: Standing 1/4 mile - 13.4 seconds at 101 mph. Best time was 13.398 seconds, best speed was 101.99 mph. Standing 1/8 mile - 8.7 seconds at 83 mph. Best time was 8.590 seconds, best speed was 84.27...

Anyone with an F3 tried BRP's Chopped Rear Fender?

Here’s a few pics. Installed the chopped fender two days after I got the bike home, and put the LaMonster IPS PackRack on last year. I take the rack(s) off when not specifically needed - takes 2 minutes by pulling 4 bolts.

Contemplating buying a Spyder - any reliability, power, and buyer's remorse issues?

Grampi - remember that the F3 will have 5 different positions for the footboards. You can tailor the footboard position fore/aft to your liking, but you will have to buy the correct length brake rod to match a change. Also, you didn’t notice much difference in acceleration because both models...

Curious for comments on Twisted Sisters ride in Texas?

I rode 335 and 337 on my way back from Green Country Spyder Jamboree. Try to get up there on the bikes/trykes at least once a year. Very nice scenery, great food in the area. I enjoy it …

Contemplating buying a Spyder - any reliability, power, and buyer's remorse issues?

Two-wheels vs three-wheels is just a different ride. Not better or worse - just different. I’m 60 y.o. and have had my F3-S just over two years. Love it. Just got back from riding ~2,700 miles in 7 days, including 700+ miles of “spirited” riding in eastern OK / western AR, the Talimena Byway...
