• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Birthday present - “some assembly required” Reverse Trike model!

Well - the spousal unit just gave me a birthday present. Black box with “Zylegen” meant nothing to me. Opened it, and started pulling bag after bag of what appeared to be Lego-looking pieces out …. Then found the assembly book. Is a build kit for a model reverse trike similar to the F3 series...

Got my BEST extended warranty from iMotorsports!

Was worried that, with the price increases on EVERYTHING in our world, the B.E.S.T. would be higher. Called Thomas last month, and secured the 3-year warranty extension for $671 for my NOS ‘17 F3-S Daytona that I bought new in May ‘22. Amazing - when the extended warranty expires on May 17...

Hear, Hear! Do you wear ear plugs if your helmet doesn't cover your ears?

I wear ear plugs w/ a full face helmet. But, I use short windscreens that keep my head in clear air

Who would have thought that Grip Puppies could make such a difference!

I am using the foam grip covers that Lamonster sells. End result feels pretty much akin to the Kuryakyn ISO grips I had on my Honda CTX1300. I like it, and my wife is happy with hers, too. I wear deerskin gauntlet gloves all the time, she wears thin leather or none.

Let the work begin... 2015 F3 with a new (used) engine being installed.

I believe ALL 2015 F3 models had the big rear sprocket. It is a base model, evidenced by solid painted silver wheels, small round light at front of front fenders, and bright heat shields on secondary muffler. Also should not have cruise - unless later installed. Nice-looking ride! :2thumbs:

    Downshifting vs Braking

To each his own. Don’t think computer will let you do anything to really hurt the engine on the SE trannies.

2015 Can Am Spyder F3 - Needs a new engine!

If it’s only rotating ~180* or so before binding, I would think you have a bolt head that has backed out somewhere and is contacting something (the block, a case cover, etc). Vaguely recall that being a problem with a few 3rd gen Honda Magna 750’s. I have very limited understanding of the I-3...

Did this just last week or so. Lots of safeties: ramps, straps, floor jack, wheel chock. Stable as can be.

Recommend any good places for Riding in Arkansas?

ARtraveler - wish I had known your exact where-about a few months ago. When my wife and I rode our two F3-S’s up for the meetup at Lamonster’s, one of my solo afternoon “spirited” rides thru the twisties had me coming back northeast on 123 to Western Grove, where I stopped for a snack at...
