• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Will the usual add-ons fit the Tri Axis bars on my RT?

You may want to wait until you get the TriAxis bars installed so you know exactly what you are dealing with. If you need a different solution Lamont's Spyder Cuff and Drink Holder is an outstanding solution. I have his Cuff on my TriAxis bars along with a drink holder and phone holder attached...

TPMS for the cost concious rider.

If you have a Garmin GPS that supports the TPMS, then you can get the tire pressure monitors for a very reasonable price and have an integrated system with your GPS. I have this and I really like it. Very reliable. Rob

    Tri-Axis Bars

Nope, completely different mounting and geometry. If you are having trouble you may need to consider different/custom bars or the various bar extender products you can get on the market. Rob

    Installing RT Limited Seat

Tip: The Nut and Bolt do not go in as deep into the slot as you might think. All of the other suggestions are really great as well. I'm pretty quick with it now, but I've probably done four seats. I now have a Russell! Rob

998cc Fuel fume smell during ride...thoughts?

I have a 1330 and don't know the design of your unit. However, I did experience a fuel smell, but none of the rough running you mention, that ended up being a missing clamp on the incoming fuel side of the fuel filter. Rob

    Cleaning

I really like CSI Q7 Detailer. I spray a little bit on, rub it in with a microfiber towel and then buff with a different microfiber towel. Goes on very quickly and easily yet produces a uniform and shiny surface. https://youtu.be/s1xSbvl_I1k. Rob

Transition from 2 wheels to 3

I'm currently 68 and in 2015 I purchased a 2015 RT Limited. My story is similar to yours and my getting used to the Spyder is about the same as everyone else. I went from hate to love. You will get used to it and my guess is you will love it giving it a month or so. I now put more miles on...

Can't decide which F3 Spyder to buy - any guidance?

'15 F3S as I think you'll end up enjoying all of the added features. I also think you will really enjoy the SE6, vs manual, once you get used to it. Rob

Does Anyone Tow Their Spyder with a Subaru Outback?

I have no experience, but here is what I found on the web. Assuming your Spyder is 1000 lbs, then you have 1700 lbs for a trailer. This may limit you to an aluminum trailer.
