• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

October 30 Ride in NW Iowa.

Peter, that is something I am working on. GoPro Time Warp does not record audio. So I have to switch to video mode and speed up in post. GoPro camera mic is not great and I get enough wind noise to drown out the sound of the engine. The F3 is a very quiet running bike, but if I could get...

October 30 Ride in NW Iowa.

Saturday was a nice 63 degree day, with clear blue sky. My wife wanted to go for one last Spyder ride, before it gets to cold for her to want to ride with me.

Windy Days are for the Birds

Yesterday I rode in my Spyder about 120 miles with sustained winds of 25-35 mph and gusts of over 40 mph. Keeping a loose grip on the bars and the Spyder tracked nice and straight. Keeping a light grip on the bars is the key for me.

    Brp go

Played with it a bit over the weekend. Seemed to work well on a short ride. Had to do some Bluetooth repairing, and can report that the Bluetooth side is working well for me. I usually only use the BT connection, unless I go on a long ride and I want the phone battery to last the entire ride...

Ride to the Ice Cream Capitol of the World

It was a beautiful day in NW Iowa, so the wife and I rode to LeMars, Iowa for lunch at Bob's Drive Inn and ice cream at the Wells Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlour. Was a great October day for a ride. About 160 mile round trip. The food at Bob's was great and the ice cream was fantastic. Bob's...

    Brp go

I used it this afternoon on a ride and SiriusXM played in the helmet and Rever displayed in the dash. I started both apps on the phone (iPhone 11) before connecting BRP Go and they worked. The ride was logged and the music played.

We need to get some new Rallys going...

Spirit Lake Iowa is the home of Indian Motorcycle. Before that it was home to Victory. They used to have an annual Victory Rally. Would be great to get another rally here. It is a tourist area with beautiful lakes, hotels and restaurants, amusement park, water park, 2 breweries and some nice...

    Brp go

My point in posting was to inform that BRP is doing something with the development of the app. Possibly they will make it easier to use and more functional. This could indicate that they are listening to what users are saying and trying to make improvements. Time will tell if they do make it...

which was your most spectacular tour ??

Wisconsin has some great areas to ride near the River Road. Have ridden there quite a few times and there are a lot of rural 2 lane roads with hills and curves and great scenery. Plus wineries and breweries and good food.

After ideas on Locations for GoPro Camera?

I have a F3 and the dash is smooth plastic. I use a helmet mount a lot also. If you can find a flat area on the windscreen that works too.
