• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anybody buy Slingmods Ryker 3-bag system? Good or bad? Opinions?

I guess you haven't tried to ship anything lately, it's not cheap and the bulkier the box the more it is. Since they haven't shipped yet the jury is still out on that. Look at the prices on quality motorcycle luggage and the value becomes pretty clear...

    Ryker Hot CVT Belt

After you posted this I took a look at my filters on the Rally. I was surprised that the engine filter still looked new and the belt filter was getting dirty at 2,500 miles.

Ryker Rally New Tires where to find them???????

I don’t need to change any yet but the closest I could find for the front was a 175/50/16. Looks like the fenders could be shimed.

    Blackstone Labs Oil Analysis

So going by your math the Amsoil held up better. I would run either one to 10,000 miles in the spyder.

    Blackstone Labs Oil Analysis

I think it is pretty simple to figure if two oils are rated 40 weights and one doesn't stay a 40 then it doesn't hold up as well.

engine surges in 1st or rev on start up

That's how our 2016 F3L acts when it's cold. Once it's a little warm it goes away. I don't consider it a problem.

Any tests on the Ryker yet? That engine shouldn't be hard on oil.

FYI regarding adding skid plates to a spyder

Shawn is a dealer mechanic, he follows the company line. There is a provision on my skid plate to bolt it to the frame for more stiffness. If you hit the front end on something hard enough it will still break parts.
