• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We Need an Oil Additive Thread

Nope, don't add that crap. If you use a good quality synthetic oil you can go to the 9,300 oil change interval no problem. Not sure? Do your own oil analysis.

    Stalling

Could be bad gas or the fuel filter. Due for a fuel filter at 28,000.

Time to crawl under the Spyder

Yes, that will also keep the compressor from working. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=service+manual+for+2019+can+am+spyder+rt

Limp home mode 2017 F3L - Update: Fixed (I hope!)

Sounds like a simple belt adjustment. You also should ask them to check the front drive pulley, some have failed.

    Rear wheel balancing?

You can always balance the rear tire with the axle , 2 jack stands and some stick on weights.

    Oil Drain Plug Overtightened

Torque is tricky on drain plugs because they usually have some oil on the threads. Most torque specs are for dry threads. As long as you have no leaks wait until your next oil change.

Rear tire sizing and possible gearing affects

Our 2016 F3L is also within 1 mph of GPS speed with a General Altimax RT43, 215/60/15 with 20,000 miles on it.

What's the best sized socket for Spyder Lug nuts?

I use a 13/16" spark plug socket. Not sure about an impact.

    Laser Schmaser ?

Just wondering because our 2016 F3L had good alignment between the front wheels but not to the back wheel. It was crabbing slightly.

Its rear brake pad replacement time again

Clean the parts that slide and grease them with disc brake grease.

    Laser Schmaser ?

Does this align to the chassis or to the rear wheel?

    Pulled the Trigger

2016 F3L here. Laser alignment and sway bar helped ours. I made my own brake bar to lower the brake pedal. 1/2" shorter did the trick for me.

    Another car tire thread

It's been 5 years since I lived in PA but at that time I went to an independent motorcycle shop for inspection and had a car tire on the rear. I said nothing about it and our RT passed state inspection. No state inspection in Nevada.

    Identify these connectors

The radio mounts under the tail piece and the tail light wires run through there as well.

2010 RT has trouble holding a straight line

It would certainly be good to have the front end checked out. It could be a tie rod or ball joint. The sway bar links should also be checked. Also have the rear wheel area checked out. Sounds like something is loose.

Do I need to take this puppy up to 80/90 mph occasionally?

It is good for any vehicle to get out on the highway and be run at highway speeds when they are normally run only in town. It gets everything up to temperature and burns off fuel and moisture in the oil.

    No compression

This sounds possible, the rear cylinder wasn't running and then the front. could be a lot of fuel/oil in the pre-muffler, the one under the bike. If both cylinders are running let it burn off the oil.
