• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I look forward to your evaluation.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Gave ours its first bath late yesterday, she sure is pretty. I was a bit surprised at the amount of brake dust that rinsed away, but after 4,000 miles and riding in a lot of twisties, it should be expected. With the temps in the high 90's here during the day, it was still 80+ degrees at 8 PM...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Sounds like a great trip (minus the troubles). Glad you made it home OK. My wife and I are interested in riding the coast of Maine, heard that it's a pretty drive.

Any suggestions on 2022 RT Limited GPS mounting? Wiring? Pictures? Supplier?

Mine is mounted the way that Troop described. I actually followed his lead on this and I'm very pleased with the results.

    Anybody add a bumper guard?

I'm considering one after driving through a local town that had uneven brick roads. Our bottom scrubbed a couple of areas where the newer RT guard would have absorbed the impact.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Remounted the front tires. The local shops can't balance them and the shop where we bought the bike can't either until their balancer is repaired. Worse case scenario is waiting a couple week until we get to the rally in eastern Ohio where I'll have an alignment done. Side note, after a couple...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

We went for a nice ride late yesterday afternoon, kept the speed under 60 mph. The ride was good, weather was very nice, the subtle handlebar waggle was irritating. But that sway bar improvement... Wow! Weather was awesome again this afternoon, so we went for another ride. On the way home, we...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I'd love to live close enough to do this as well!. I have no idea where this can be done in SE Ohio.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Last Monday I took the front tires over to Firestone (it's the nearest tire shop) to have them balanced. When I picked them up they told me that they did not do a dynamic balance, but were able to get them dialed in statically. I took them home & remounted them then left the bike parked until...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Last week after installing the Zumo, the wife and I headed over to SE Ohio for a few days. We went down to the Ohio River, then drove east on Hwy's 52 & 7 as it followed the course of the river. We stayed in eastern Ohio for 3 nights; and spent most of the daylight hours riding some really...

    1year mark

FWIW, I think if you resize the pics (make them a bit smaller) the orientation will correct itself. That worked for me in the past. And congrats on the fun year you've had!

    Memorial Day

I come from a family of patriots. Father was WWII Army Vet, one brother is an Air Force vet, 4 brothers are Army vets, one of whom was an Army Medic. He was KIA in Vietnam while attempting to rescue a fallen soldier. Memorial Day will always be special in our family.

Zumo XT2 paired to headset by Bluetooth - anyone else got clicking in the headset?

Hey Peter, thanks for the help. As I was writing the description of the problem, I tried to cover all of the connection scenarios but failed to mention that we have had successful Pandora music play from the phones directly to the Cardo units. Prior to installing the Zumo I was using the phone...

Zumo XT2 paired to headset by Bluetooth - anyone else got clicking in the headset?

I recently purchased and installed the Garmin Zumo XT2. We have Cardo Freecom 4X headsets and Galaxy Note10+ phones. The phones and Cardo units are up to date with the latest operating software. The Zumo updated on start-up. The Cardo units were paired to each other, and then paired to the...

    Is it Zumo time???

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I purchased the Xumo XT2, the MotoPumps lock, as well as this key lock, and I went with the center mount option.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

We had decided that we were going to use our phones for navigation, but found that the GPS antennas are failing in the phones. Rather than buy new phones sooner than we'd intended and then put them to use in this manner, we chose to get the Garmin. I purchased the Zumo XT2 kit, along with a...

Installed Fender Lights, not flashing in sync! Anyone else? Any ideas/fixes?

Any chance that it's just a matter of the wires for the running and turn signals are crossed?

    Is it Zumo time???

Have either of you found that the Garmin head unit moves or settles from road vibration? I like the adjustability of the ball mount, just curious if it can be tightened enough to keep everything in place while riding.
