• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any Modification recommendations from those who tour on their Spyders?

Go play in rush hour traffic to get comfortable with that, as on an extended trip you will be in heavy traffic once in a while, which requires a heighten level of attention for sometimes an extended period. I have both an Android Auto screen and a Garmin XT GPS. Dash Cam, phone mount, and cup...

Any experience in buying used bikes/trikes from this dealer in Peoria AZ?

Way to go! I sent my in-laws in Mesa a link to it, telling them they should by it for an AZ Spyder and take their 2014 RT back to Wa as their Northern Spyder. Salesman told me it had a lot of upgrades. Keep us posted when you get it. (y)(y)(y)

They seem to have one white low mile F3, so can we assume that you are looking at that? 2015 SPYDER F3-S - Can-Am I took the VIN and put in Can Am recall look up, and it shows no active recalls. I would check on the date codes of the Kenda tires. However, if it was me, the Kenda tires would be...

Anybody see a measurable change in fuel mileage with larger diameter rear tire?

Here are the weights removed from the rear wheel of my second 2018 when the Kenda was removed. A General Altimax Rt45 was installed without balancing and has no issues. I have done 4 rear tire R&R now between my Spyders and friend's Spyders. Not the funnest job, however having the right tools...

Anybody see a measurable change in fuel mileage with larger diameter rear tire?

The Generals that I put on the rear are 121 bucks. What does the Kenda rear tire cost? The General Altimax RT45 215/60R15 is a much better tire. Spyder handles better and it will last 3 or 4 times longer.

Has anyone ever mounted the transponder part of a key next to the ignition to bypass DESS?

Does it allow one to push the key in and turn to open the seat and frunk?

Has anyone ever mounted the transponder part of a key next to the ignition to bypass DESS?

It only takes one key to run it and one as a spare, as the spare is needed to get a new key made if you lose the main one. My spare is hidden in a locked compartment, I have a key cut that is always on my key ring in my pocket that unlocks the compartments.
