• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anybody use a J & S Jack to lift their Spyder?

Looks just like the jack that I just received from Harbor Freight. Haven't used it yet. Looks like I will have to raise the back end up a little bit perhaps an inch or so. Easy to back up over a 2x6 piece of board to give enough clearance to slide the jack under.

How does Can-Am Test New Spyders? Should I be concerned?

After being invited to the BMW factory in Berlin and witnessing and being explained, it is a definite fact of before shipping out. I 100% expect that is also the case with Can Am. By the way that is also the case with the Stihl factory in in Virginia Beach, Va.

Time to share... My 1 of 1 Spyder.....

Looks to me that after being in the M/C business since the late 60's, you should present your design to BRP to make a Ryker like companion to the full size Spyder. The more I look at your creation... The better.

Contemplating buying a Spyder - any reliability, power, and buyer's remorse issues?

Regular fuel works just fine in the Spyder Engine, I have never used anything other than regular from the Walmart station near our place here in Alamogordo, NM. Runs like a fine watch.

I don't understand 'Trip Statistics'... am I holding it wrong?

I know that I am getting up in years... BUT, the dash & its various configurations are the most, by a large margin, the most confusing and frustrating that I have ever attempted to use. For all practical purposes I only pay attention to the speedometer, fuel level, outside air temp, and gear...
