• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There really are no alternatives to the Can Am reverse trikes

From Search Engine: Past Legal Problems: Japanese manufacturers, particularly Honda, faced significant legal challenges in the past related to their three-wheeled vehicles. These issues stemmed from injuries and fatalities associated with their off-road three-wheelers, leading to lawsuits that...

There really are no alternatives to the Can Am reverse trikes

It’s even worse in Abingdon, Virginia. The dealer there carries a couple of Can-Am four wheelers, along with Kubota tractors, lawnmowers, etc. and this keeps the franchise tied up in that area so nobody could sell three wheelers if they wanted to from that company. Can-Am should regulate that...

There really are no alternatives to the Can Am reverse trikes

I always heard that the Japanese companies had such a bad experience with lawsuits surrounding their 3wheel atv's that they won’t or can’t make trikes anymore? Anyway, as Ten Bear said in Outlaw Jose Wales, “there is iron in your words“.

There really are no alternatives to the Can Am reverse trikes

There’s always some little malfunction/issue/aggravation with Spyders. Good idea but lacking in Honda type reliability. If given a practical choice from a reputable company I’d switch.

The Spyder is certainly not a Honda - but the reliability sure would be nice! Still not switching tho!!

There seems to always be some irritating little problems with Spyders. I only ride them because they have a monopoly on the reverse trike system. Sure wish there were more reliable choices.

Absolutely! I wish one of those companies are listening and interested?

The Spyder is certainly not a Honda - but the reliability sure would be nice! Still not switching tho!!

My search assistant provided this. The Harley-Davidson Tri-Glide's traction control system has been associated with a malfunction that can lead to unintended activation of one of the rear brakes. This issue can cause unexpected changes in the vehicle's direction, significantly increasing the...

The Spyder is certainly not a Honda - but the reliability sure would be nice! Still not switching tho!!

I rode a few HD trikes and Honda trike kit bikes in my search for the 3-wheel transition. I didn't think the HD was bad but chose the Spyder partly because I found a good deal on a used one and kinda liked being able to see the wider part of the machine as I ride. I didn't care for the Honda...

The Spyder is certainly not a Honda - but the reliability sure would be nice! Still not switching tho!!

I’m on my 2nd Spyder RT. I’ve owned many motorcycles and scooters over the years. Now days I like the Spyder idea of big Goldwing features/comfort with 3-wheel stability. I’ve replaced compressors on both, compressor fitting on one, little hydraulic jacks for trunk, etc. Mine don’t have the...

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

I just noticed Snowbelt advises that it’s called a relay. I’m showing my ignorance again Whatever it is called, I pulled what it was on the diagram and it worked to stop the compressor and didn’t seem to affect anything else.

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

Many thanks to Peter, Snowbelt, BajaRon, and others who chimed in to help me with this suspension issue. I apparently have a ruptured suspension air bag or some other leak. I was able to pull the F4 fuse as recommended by you folks and that stopped the compressor from running until I can get an...

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

If I remove the fuse does that affect anything else on the bike other than the compressor?

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

Employees at the authorized dealer East TN ATV in Elizabethton, TN told me that I could turn the compressor off on the dash. I researched and found no way to do that. Do I need to remove the guard under the seat (4 bolts) to add slime? Will slime damage the compressor? Am I safe for the 30...

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

One of the mechanics at Baja Ron’s advised me to put 50 pounds of air into my airbag manually and see if it would hold air for any length of time. I tried this three or four times and measured it with two separate air gauges. My airbag won’t even hold air for one minute. It’s back to zero after...

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

I contacted his shop Ron sent me an email. He’s giving me some much needed and appreciated advice in an attempt to help me remotely. Awesome guy! I’ll take my Spyder to him if it gets above my comfort level. We shall see? God bless you Ron. Thanks to everyone chiming in to help me here...

Wow, thank you. I’m actually about an hour and 15 minutes away from Greenville, TN. I’ll try to find him. Is BajaRon the name of his shop?

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

I’m literally overwhelmed by the wonderful and knowledgeable responses. I’m getting on here and I’m very much appreciate it. The old compressor apparently never worked when I bought it last September. I had the dealer order and install a new compressor. I didn’t ride much through the winter at...

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

I went through the steps with the kill switch, and I got the same whistling type noise that I was even told at the dealer is the fuel pump. That’s not the buzz noise I was hearing... I had the compressor replaced not long ago so as someone posted on here I wonder if there’s some issue there and...

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

I lately noticed an intermittent buzzing noise that sounds like it’s coming from under the seat near the rear of my 2014 Spyder RT (17,000 miles) when it is in 1st gear at idle at stoplights, etc. The noise disappears when I engage the park brake or put the machine in neutral and returns when I...
