• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My First Spyder

Congratulations on your new ryde. 8 years ago hopped of my Honda Shadow and climbed onto an RS ... then an RTS ... and now an F3L. I never looked back. Enjoy smiling with the passing of each mile.

    Traded my 2016 RTS for a 2018 F3

No Regrets I went from an 12 RTS to an 17 F3L ... and never looked back!!!!! The F3 for me is an absolute blast to ryde. Your choice of color is excellent. Enjoy every mile.

New frame mount bottle holder for the F3

I know there is no such product currently available for the F3 Limited. Such a kit has been given consideration and some research has been done. It seems kinda goofy to add the “relocation mirrors”, and the OEM mirrors have to remain to house the turn signals, etc.. I was simply expressing my...

New frame mount bottle holder for the F3

Way neat, clean and cool ... as is the trademark of your projects, products and personality. Not to steal the thread, but I’d love to see the completion of the mirror relocation and turn signals for the F3 Limited.

    Arachnid Touring Tire V35004

I used Arachnids on my RT with decent performance. The factory Kenda rear on my F3 went almost 14K miles. I replaced it with a Kenda. The factory fronts have 17K miles and have tread left to wear off. Although I live on the prairie, much of my riding has been in the hills and mountains east of...

Have RT want F3 limited. Want input.

The answer to your question is really one of personal preference and to a degree, one’s physical characteristics. My likes/dislikes are many times different than those of others. In my experience, I like my ‘17 F3L hundreds of times better than my previous RT. I had over 54K miles on the RT...

    B.E.S.T. Coverage ...or not

Time will tell whether my choice was correct, but after comparing warranties, as closely as possible, I chose Zurich when I purchased my 17 F3 Ltd. Seven years coverage, running congruently with BRP factory warranty, was less than $800. BEST was very fair when I had my RT. And, knowledgeable and...

How is it possible for some of you to get all that mileage on your Spyder

I agree with what everyone has said. Be true to yourself and live your life to the fullest you are able. Enjoy every mile.

How many miles on your current Spyder?

12 RT traded in with just shy of 54,000 17 F3L in 4.5 months, 13,200 screaming miles!!!

Just bought an F3 Limited from iMotorsports

I’m super happy for you! Having gone from a 12 RT to a 17 F3L, the change for me was mind blowing. Since the end of May I’ve ridden it over 13,000 awesome miles. On a not so awesome note, my experience with the named dealer was, shall I say, not so favorable. I bought elsewhere.

    Central Illinois spyder dealer

I've used World of Powersports in Decatur for parts, service and advice for years. They have always treated me right. They have a decent selection of Spyders. One is an F3 used for demo rydes. They also have facilities in Bloomington, Springfield and Peoria.

    Extended Warentee

Although BEST was a good investment on both my 09 RS and 12 RT, for my 17 F3, I chose to go with a Zurich 72 month agreement. It was less than BEST, is longer and runs concurrent with BRO 2 year warranty. Reviews were, overall, good. Time will tell.

    Need info on Shipping

I used Uship to get my first Spyder to IL from Texas. I've gone with Uship for ATV's, tractors and a truck over the years. All we superbly handled in all respects. The fees were very reasonable, the shippers were professional and the delivery times were all ahead of schedule, with the exception...

    Solo trip advice

My State Farm agent knew exactly what I needed. On only one occasion have I been asked by a Canadian Border Officer to see my proof of insurance. I don't think it referenced the provinces I'd be visiting, but it did cover the dates I would be in Canada. My agent made the window large enough that...

    Solo trip advice

Regarding post #68, I evidently wasn't clear. My comment to throw it in the frunk or truck was supposed to be an easy way to keep it from being stolen at a gas or other stop rather than having to buy a bunch of stuff to "protect" it on the Spyder. And having traveled a lot, solo, I do leave it...

    Solo trip advice

I take all my trips solo. Over 60K with no substantive issues. You appear to be planning it right. The advice is all great. Of note, if nothing has changed, you'll need to have a current insurance card, certifying you are covered for the period you will be Canada. If you're buying trinkets or...

    Comfort seat stitching color

My RT has a modified (by Astech Seats, Jonesboro, IN)OEM seat. I dyed the stitching red in 2012. I used FabricMate Pigment dye. It's a chisel point "pen." I think I got it at Hobby Lobby for like $5. I've had zero issues. I've refreshed the color a few times over the years. Still using the...

    Question for the group

I've endured varying degrees of lower back pain most of my 6 decades due to a childhood affliction. Over the years I've tried a cornucopia of mess and procedures, short of surgery, with minimal results. About a year ago, an Ortho doc suggested a topical script for a product called Pennsaid. I...
