• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Traded My Ryker

Traded it for a 30 year old Jeep in a private transaction. I've enjoyed my two years here, lots of good people on this forum. It was fun seeing all the mods, ideas, and creative solutions for accessories, especially in the beginning when there wasn't much in accessories out there to be had. I...

    Ryker Over Night Price Increases

EDIT: Sorry, I just verified it, those were Canadian prices, not US prices, so there were no price increases other than the standard new prices going to the 2022 model year. My mistake.

Battery Maintainers - on sale at Napa Oct '21

I just thought I'd put this out there for those who may need a decent battery maintainer. Right now Napa currently has a nice 1.5 amp battery maintainer with battery pigtail on sale for $19.99, I currently have 3 maintainers that I've been using on all my bikes for the last several years. One of...

There Is A New 2022 Rally

And it has a couple of nice features that I wish mine had. It looks like the Sport is just the renamed Ace 900 base with a sport mode and KYB suspension.

Can Am Says No More Ryker Rally's

Looks like those of us that have the Rally Edition will be the only ones, 2021 was the last year. Its being replaced by the Sport Edition. LINK...

Massive Fire At BRP/Can Am Facility In Juarez Mexico

Dont know if this will slow the Rykers production, but they are made in Juarez. LINK: https://www.thedrive.com/news/41595/massive-fire-at-can-am-warehouse-torches-tons-of-atvs?fbclid=IwAR1m7N9tGM-gSHQPBidVsFaDC5jHVFWQD91m95wd7XBD4_ILFTVsQSDnsoY

    New Trailer

I've been looking at trailers for the last several months and I've noticed like everything else, that the prices are steadily rising at a considerable pace. I had an enclosed 16' toy hauler trailer that I recently sold because it cost a small fortune in fuel to haul it on these 1700 mile round...

    My Cheap Gas Cap Cover

I didnt want a keyed gas cap because I didnt want to have to fiddle around with a locked gas cap every time I fuel up, after all, the starting procedure is long enough as it is. So I took a measurement and started looking around the garage and the house and came up with this cheap and easy...

    LED Auxiliary Lights

Well it seems that the Rykers suffer as much as bike riders do with not being seen coming down the road by other drivers. I've had several instances lately (especially city driving) with people pulling out in front of me. So I resorted to adding additional auxiliary lights to the front, much the...

My New $20.00 Leather Driver Backrest

Got this on Amazon for $20.00 and it actually works really good. Before adding this backrest, when I leaned back, I end up against the Linq Accessory base plate, which isnt too comfortable. This backrest rest right over the edge of the plate and right at the lower lumbar area of the back. Easy...

    Super Bowl Day Ride

It was 75 degrees & blue skies this afternoon in Tampa, so I took the Ryker for a quick pre Super Bowl ride around town. After picking up the wings, ribs, and all the fixings, I came back home to prepare some of the food. One of my specialties is this homemade Raspberry bourbon jalapeno glaze...

    Ride Images Compilation Video

I assembled some images into a short video of my rides around Florida during the first six months of owning the Ryker. After 40 years of riding two wheelers, I'm still amazed at the amount of fun I get from this machine. Its pretty much been problem free, so hopefully that continues. I had a...

    Secondary Brake Strobe Light Installed

I recently installed this brake strobe light on the Ryker and wanted to share what I think is a great inexpensive safety product, cost is about $24 bucks, and its not just visible at night. I started installing and using these lights on all my bikes after riding behind a Goldwing in the Smoky...

    Lifting The Ryker

Just curious what people are doing to lift their Rykers to access the underneath side. Has anyone used three wheel ramps and backed it on? I saw somewhere (dont remember where) that someone used two for the front and backed it onto the two to get the front off the ground. Currently I've been...

    Peaceful Ride To Nowhere Today

This morning I headed out on the Ryker and did a 130 mile ride into Florida's interior back country. It was 44 degrees when I left, and a very nice 61 degrees by the time I got home this afternoon. Love doing these solo interior rides because you're out in the middle of nowhere, Just woods...

    New Luggage

Right after I purchased the Ryker in July, I fabbed up a bracket and I added some throw over saddlebags. Even though they were a little on the smallish side, and I couldn't lock them, they really worked well and served their purpose. Earlier this month, I ran across a nice deal on this set of...

    Gas Gauge Not Working

My gas gauge shows full all the time, even on empty. The bars never move, just stuck showing full. Miles to empty works fine and thats what I've been using to determine how low I am on fuel. Anyone have any ideas? I know I can take it to the dealership under warranty, but I would prefer not to...

    Another Recall, Same Issue

I saw this today on FB. Its another wheel nut recall, I thought they already addressed this crap. LINK: https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/us/en/owners/safety/safety-recalls.html?fbclid=IwAR1xwZs-quHTimoujr4N8qaC9Y4xQ6RrQmiRr3MgXxrFbObl_VCf95_vV5E

    Ryker Axle Plugs

After reading complaints from Ryker owners about the axles rusting if you look at them wrong, and after seeing the post here about the axle/hub caps from Adept Powersports, since mine were missing too I went ahead and ordered the inside caps as others have. After receiving them and putting them...

    My Saddlebag Support Options

There's not a lot of options out there for saddlebags, and there's no saddlebag support brackets available out there for the Ryker. There's Slingmods which I really like, they're currently out of stock on their three piece luggage set, and there's Lamonster, and that's it. I don't consider the...
