• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need Help identifying a particular road or route in Arizona?

Need help locating a particular road in eastern Arizona or possibly in New Mexico. Several years ago, I flew into Phoenix and drove to Show Low, AZ for a couple days work. When it was time to return to the airport, I had some extra time to kill so I picked a route that I believe went east out of...

Anyone ever found corrosion inside their fuse box; what’s the solution?

This is regarding my 2021 RTL (Sea to Sky). I searched but no luck using the search function with multiple words. Recently my instrument cluster would not come on when I turned the key to on position. Nor would the starter button do anything. It was like the battery was completely dead, but...

Any recommendations for upgraded battery with more CCA’s?

My OE battery in my 21 RTL crapped out. It came with the YUASA YTX24HL that list 350 CCA. Is anyone aware of a good battery that has more cold cranking amps than the OE battery? Not really wanting to switch to lithium ion at this time. PS - Background: Went on a 5 day trip and put on just over...

Need Help with Ultimate seat install on ‘22 Ryker Rally?

There is a small plastic panel that attaches to the OEM seat by way of two plastic posts pressing into rubber grommets on the seat (one on each of the left and right sides). The Ultimate 2up seat does not have the holes/grommets for attaching the plastic panels. Has anyone run across this issue...

Cardo Packtalk Bold - Advice on 2020+ RTL and bluetooth connections?

Just purchased a Cardo Packtalk Bold unit and my plan is/was to pair it to my iPhone only and not the Spyder. My thinking is for GPS I always use various gps apps on my phone, I no longer use a stand alone GPS. And for radio I'll typically use phone apps as well (XM, iHeart, iTune, Pandora)...

Hotdog! My 22 Rally is in!

Dealer called to say my ‘22 Ryker Rally is at the dealership! I will pick it up sometime next week, depending on weather. In the meantime they texted a few pics of it, so I’ll share one here.

    Car Tires and Tire Pressure

I was initially going to post this in another tire thread but decided it may be too much of a hijack. Being a Spyder rider for less than a year I have no experience with anything other than the OEM Kendas, but I expect I will replace the tires with a car tire when the time comes. I expect to...

    Checking The Oil Level

The owners manual on my 2021 RT (page 102 & 103) says to warm the engine up prior to checking the oil level by 1. Take a ride of at least 9 miles. 2. Park on level surface. 3. Let the engine idle for 10 minutes then check the oil level within 2 minutes after stoping the engine. Can someone...

Any options to get a USB Outlet For Passenger?

Does anyone know of a good option to allow the passenger to have a USB outlet available while riding? I'd like for my wife to be able to charge her phone while also using the phone during a ride. I don't want to have to put the phone in the trunk where she can't access it. This would be on a...

    I'm an honest member now!

Picked up my Sea to Sky Friday (3/26). I have just over 700 miles on it now. I got the handling/steering down pretty much now, but I haven't completely gotten over the feeling I'm going to tip it over every time I round a curve/corner. I enrolled in a Canam rider course and it's set for...

    What model do you recommend

Hi everyone, I guess this is my first post except for my post in the Welcome thread. I’m 64 and retired. Been a two wheel rider for the majority of my life like I expect most everyone else here and I’m going to try my hand in the Spyder world. I’m expecting to do a lot of long distance touring...
