• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    DPS failure

Since I’m bombing BPR regarding F3 Clutch Assist on the F3 forum I thought I’d throw out the question of how many 2011 RTs have had their DPS replaced. I also have, the wife has, a 2011 DPS replaced this spring with a little over 11,000 miles. While on the phone with a dealers parts manager...

    F3 Clutch Assist Buyer Beware

The continuing story has an ending, the clutch assist for the SM6 F3 works. With the motor running the pull on the stiff clutch is reduced, but buyer beware as the hard to get BRP instructions are difficult to follow and poorly illustrated. It’s clearly known that BRP doesn’t support owner...

F3 Clutch Assist kit 122791 Check Valve

Upon installation of kit F3 threw a P O 106 code. ( vac issue). Upon closer exam the check value although installed correctly arrow up, the valve air flow was restricted. My wife said my face was as red as my shirt from blowing into valve. I’m thinking as it pulls vac from the air box from the...

    Thousand mile quickie

Put wheels in motion and drove the F3/s to Cruthersville MO, from Franklin NC to spread my fathers ashes. Both legs of the trip were uneventful and weather was great. F3 had a little over 1000 miles on it at the start and drove like a rocket ship, a little belt vibration around 70 mph but...

My F3 accused of being a slingshot

On a recent ride through the gorge leading up to Highlands NC I was twisting hard enjoying Gs. My wife was attempting to stay up with me on her R/T, suddenly she dropped back and gave me hell over the sena, she was pelted by rocks slung by my rear tire. I reminded her that it's her decision to...

    Gereriatic crouch rocket

Now on our third week in the mountains with the rt/s and the new F3. Found a lot of biker friends looking hard at the F3 wondering what it really is. Is it a cruiser or is it a crotch rocket. As a senior citizen in very good health and a young at heart wife, we continue to travel all the fun...

    Up the Dragon

Put over 175 miles on the F3 today, in ideal weather. Great trip to and back from the tail with no issues. The Nannies behaved and there was several times I deserved a lecture from them. Ate at Deals Gap first and ran down and back, what was sad a Harley driver lost control not fair from the...

    In the mountains

Just wokeup and experienced the reason I leave Fl for the summer, 59 degrees this morning. Spent yesterday putting about 100 miles on the new F3 driving ahead of my wife on her RT/S. Great ride and very forgiving, nanny slept most of the ride. Lots of waves and conversations along the way...

Had all I can stand can't stand no more; Popeye.

I won't bore you with all the problems I've had with my 2011 R/TS but you read the forum, we've experienced most of them. Between two clusters I now have close to 10,000 miles. I have a question that might clearup my DPS warnings as of late. The bike has been in the shop three times for DPS...
