• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The front customer accessory line - I cannot see it well enough to free it up from the other wiring. Any suggestions?

Another endorsement for Smooth Spyder and Jim

Of course Jim is Smooth Spyder, but I want to be clear. Add my appreciation and admiration to the chorus. I have purchased one of his backrests and his customer has to be experienced to fully appreciate it.

Well, I made that same old mistake

    I took a F3T SS out for a spin. So by this week-end . . . a triple black.

    Catalytic converter

What are the actual benefits of removing the C.C.? Throatier exhaust sound? More power? Any shift in the "power band"? MPG? Thanks

    Xcreen

Well put me with those who say this is a very welcome addition to the Blue Ridge windshield. I even think I like the sound of my exhaust now I can hear it.

    Additional Power Source

I want to add a power source from the battery to either lateral panel on my F3. I do not see a clear path. Can someone provide reasonably specific directions? Also I cannot find a video on body panel removal for the F3. Is there one?

    Got to Deadwood rally

Wednesday night. I am not riding, but I WISH I WERE! I am with a friend in his RV and he is here to do engraving of name badges and other things. Sadly they set us (all 6 vendors) up 1/2 mile from everybody. Some law says no selling where the event is actually being held. Great country and...

    Blue Ridge observations

I installed the windshield Monday. I went riding Tuesday. As expected the BR protects below the neck. The blast of wind hitting my head is much stronger than with no windshield, but there is virtually no side wind so there is less head movement. The wind noise is much worse, to the point I...

    GPS mount

I ordered jcthorne's Value Accessories GPS mount today. After searching, it just seems to fit my needs better than any other. I plan to provide power via a USB connection from inside the tank cover. As for me, I see no reason to mount the USB into a body panel. Any comments welcome.

    F3s no radio

I really like having a radio when riding. I especially enjoy the weather band option. What have any who have no factory radio done to compensate, i.e., smartphone with Bluetooth, other radio, or whatever. I welcome any suggestions. Thanks,

    F3 and weather

Looks like our weather is finally going to be such I will get to take a F3 out this week. I have to say I am looking forward to the ride. I am sure it will be a fun ride. But I am doubtful I can give up my luxury comforts of my RT to be honest.

    Well, conventional wisdom wins again

At least, it seems to me conventional wisdom says get a Go Pro camera, not an iON camera. After doing due diligence on checking everything out, I am getting a Go Pro Hero 4 Silver. It does seem I will need a couple of extra batteries for all day riding, but that is fine with me. I will be...

    iON 1025 Camera

OK, a different question. I have never owned or even used a "sports camera". I have an opportunity to get this camera at about 50% (or more) off. Can anyone tell me what I should be looking for in a camera to be mounted on my Spyder? Thanks in advance.
