• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sena Headsets and SR10 BT module

We are in the process of changing from our G9's to Sena SMH10 helmet radios and I am considering adding one of the SR10's so I can use my HT while I'm out. I'd like to hear from any of you who have worked with this combination. Pros and cons. Thanks, ride and ride safe, Curt

    Where do I start

STEP would be great if you can find a place offering it. Linda rides a Ural side car rig and I've got the Spyder, we'd both like to take the course but last I check Evergreen didn't have anything going anywhere near us here in Dayton. There is a course taught at various site through out Virginia...

What Helmet Color should I get?

I went with hi-viz yellow for my Bell Revolver and recently added a Tourmaster coat in hi-viz yellow also. Linda has followed me in the cage and says that the helmet really helps, the jacket not so much as the RT covers most of the back. Some of my riding friend say the arm panels help from the...

Battery Tender Jr. observations and suprise

Why? bbad design? There likely isn't a new electronic equiped vehicle out there that doesn't draw atleast a milliamp or 3 when it's shut down. It's the price we pay for the convience of the electronics. I spent 30 some odd years dealing with alarm panels withvarying degrees of "smart"...

BRP Refuses to fix my 2010 RT-S

Gotta agree with the Capt'n here We have a set of cardo g9's and when I first got them I tried linking my bluetooth phone mostly to see if it could be done. It can, but on the first ride I had it ring twice and found that I just let it go to voice mail anyway. Stopped for lunch got out the book...

What Octane Fuel Does Your Spyder Drink Most of the Time?

Started out using 87 most of the time, long about our trip to DC in May I switched to 91 or 93 depending on the station. Engine seems happier and the mileage went up. Never did use Seafoam seemed silly to add alcohol to deal with alcohol. Will use Startron or Stabil for storage when it get too...

I Keep Seeing People (including Dealers) Refer to the OLD MAINTENANCE schedule.

Nice they sent the letter in June, doesn't help those of us that bought in October :D just sayin'. And before you ask the manuals weren"t updated. I was told that after the oil change that added the lager trany filter that a letter was sent out with the new schedule. Still waiting - it's been...

    Can-Am ST-1 Hybrid Helmet opinion

And when you try them on walk around in the store for a bit with it on. I've found that a quick check and ya it feels okay doesn't work to well in the long run. That said I do like my Bell Revolver, I've had it about 3 months now and have worn it exclusively since I got it. Linda and I cant wear...

    Startron & ethanol fuel

Started out using Stabil on recommendation of the service manager at the dealership where I bought the Bug. Ran out of Stabil and could only find a bottle of Startron but haven't used much of it since gas hasn't been staying in the tank long enough for it to make a difference. With winter...

Question...has any guy ridden passenger with their girl/wife 2-up?

No, not as yet, but then Linda's license class doesn't allow for a passenger and after 6 months with the Ural and its stick and all mechanical controls she's just isn't comfortable with the Bug. As to what others may or may not think I'm a 69 year old curmudgeon and as the patch on the vest...

Current update on my 13 RT-S

The IR point and shoot thermometers likely wont read the air temp at the opening. They depend on the ir output from solid objects for their readings. You will likely get a reading from the surrounding body parts which may or may not be close to the air temp coming out the opening. Ride and ride...

    Air Scoop

If they're molded it looks like an expensive mold. Hand made maybe even higher priced considering labor costs. Some where on here somebody was looking at some air scoops from a Harley dealer not sure if he ever pursued it. Ride and ride safe,
