• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Excellent! A reminder to neverplay cards for money with someone you don't know. This guy is amazing.

DON'T DRILL YOUR KEY JUST YET

I agree!! I've never understood why someone would drill a hole in the key when the sleeve it comes with already has a hole to attach to a key ring. For me, the BRP sleeve works perfectly - put the sleeve on a key ring, slip the key out to use it, slip it back in when you're done. This way...

did you see this armed robbery on the news

He was probably calm because it was so obvious that the slide did not go all the way forward, so a round was not chambered. The pistol could not be fired.

    top ten motorcycles for reliability

I must be very lucky. I've ridden BMWs for years with no reliability problems. I've had BMW RT, LT and GTL and loved them all - especially the K1600 GTL - in-line 6 cylinder with tons of power. Three riding modes - Rain, Road, and Dynamic. I called the Dynamic mode "Demonic"! It let "nanny"...

The Loch Ness monster hangs out in ... Loch Ness.

    Noob overthinking it' I'm sure

Not necessarily true. After my first test ride on a 2014 RT Limited, I didn't think it would work. I have ridden 2-wheelers since 1957, but mobility problems from MS was making that unworkable. I didn't want to stop riding so I decided to get the RT anyway, figuring I would get used to it...

    Riding without windshield

I had the same problem. Then at Spyderfest a couple of years ago, I replaced the stock windshield on my 2014 RTL with a vented and tinted F4 Sport and it is almost perfect for me. The only negative is that it doesn't keep the rain off of me as well as the stock did, but I don't do much riding...

    New Full-Size Brake Pedal

I've heard of that happening before, but the new pedal on mine doesn't do that. It works just fine. I don't have any useful advice for you, but I wanted to say hello to someone from Las Cruces. I lived there for many years, graduated from NMSU and even though I lived several other places...

are we going to do the right thing??

As nice as the F3 is, I doubt that it will replace the FJR for you. I rode a BMW K1600 GTL before physical limitations forced me to go to three wheels. I love my RTL Spyder and have had some great trips both alone and 2-up, but if i could still ride the Beemer, I'd have it back in a heartbeat...

Hydroplaining - Is it an issue?

NEVER use cruise control on wet roads. That's true on any vehicle - 2, 3, 4 or 18 wheels. I did it before I knew better and got away with it, but if you do hydroplane with the cruise on, things can get complicated really fast. Same is true on snow or patchy ice. You may have done it for...

    Wife's first Spyder - RT-S or Limited 2016

I think you've pretty much covered the differences, but for my wife and I, it is worth the difference in price. The luggage fits perfectly and holds a surprising amount. The hard-wired GPS is great for me who has no sense of direction in a city. As for the chrome, it's sure purty...

Sitting on a Spyder without asking? Anyone have this problem?

I also have a sunshade from Spyder Sisters. It's very quick and easy to put on and take off and it takes up very little storage room. I highly recommend it.

    Frunk won't latch

Any time I've had that problem, it has just been that the rubber seal has been slightly displaced. I adjust it to make sure it's seated properly and it latches just fine. May not be your problem, but it's worth checking.

    Aluma XL Trailer

I'm considering this trailer to carry my mobility scooter, but need to know if it is compatible with the BRP hitch and wiring harness. I notice it has significantly more ground clearance and seems to sit higher than the BRP Freedom Trailer. Does it need any modification for height of the...

    still leaning

I didn't notice as much difference cornering with my anti-sway bar as others seem to have experienced. Where I felt the most difference was when being passed by big truck on the highway - much less buffeting. The main thing that helped with the cornering was experience. It took me about 1000...

    New rider/

The first few days that I rode mine, I thought I'd made a very expensive mistake, but found it generally takes about 500 miles for our neurons to make the shift from two to three wheels. At first I was taking curves five to ten mph slower than posted and still feeling anxious. Now it's hard to...

    New Full-Size Brake Pedal

I have almost no movement of my foot, but fortunately it's my left foot. Whoever buys your pedal is getting a good deal.
