• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do you mange riding a Spyder and a motorcycle?

I bought a Spyder for long distance touring and for my wife's comfort. But I never stopped riding two wheels. I have downsized my two wheels to a new 2024 BMW R12 for day rides. Just yesterday I started out on my Spyder, came home and jumped onto my R12.

Is an Aerostich suit the way to go? Or not?

If you purchase a Roadcrafter suit make sure it fits you correctly. Aerostich will adjust fitting on a new suit. But if you need any kind of tailoring in the future you will be out of luck. Aerostich will not do any tailoring. The suit is great in the winter and in the rain. I can't wear the...

Kind of an expensive day - 28k service

Part of the problem today is the labor rate. Dealers in NJ are $140 per hour. Plus it depends if the dealer goes by the book. If he manufacturers service manual says two hours for service that is what they charge, even if the service takes one hour. You have to search for an honest dealer. Now...

Was this a Fuel Indicator Reserve Notification?

I posted my original question thinking that someone knew the answer to the mystery gas gauge. So I asked the question to the BRP customer service. The response was to contact one of the dealers listed in my area. Then BRP asked me if I was satisfied with their answer. You can all guess my...

Was this a Fuel Indicator Reserve Notification?

Thanks for the replies. Just to give a little more information. When I fueled up the bike took 5.5 gallons. So I assume that there was 1.5 gallons left. What drives me crazy is there is no mention in the owners manual explaining this issue. Every other company does. BTW I asked BRP about this...

Was this a Fuel Indicator Reserve Notification?

On a long ride my fuel gauge showed a range of 33 miles. Soon it showed no miles but three little lines. --- What does that mean? Was I on reserve? There is no explanation in the owners manual.

RayBJ, I have the Lamonster GPS Plug N Play harness on my 2022 RT Limited. It's a splitter that gives me three positive & negative circuits to run lights and a GPS. It plugs into the factory harness. When I spoke with Denali they told me that in order to make the lights work the trigger wire...

Dealer saying rear lid shock replacmt not covered by warranty - thoughts?

That's bull. My friend just had it changed under warranty. Dealers don't like to do warranty work because they don't get the same labor rate from the manufactures.

RT seems better suited for seniors

Last year I traded in my Moto Guzzi California and my BMW R1200R for a 2022 RT Limited. At 74 I wanted to get off of a heavier bike, the MG, and I my knees could't take the BMW riding position any more. I was questioning if I would like three wheels and I'm happy I made the trade. Also my wife...
