• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else notice the number of low mileage used Spyders on Marketplace? Any ideas why?

I was there in the 70's when the 7th Light Infantry Division was back and called Ft. Ord home.

After Information/feedback on the Freedom Windshield for 2020+ Spyder RT's - will it reduce pillion wind buffetting?

That's the one I bought from LaMonster. I think you'll be pleased with it.

After Information/feedback on the Freedom Windshield for 2020+ Spyder RT's - will it reduce pillion wind buffetting?

I have the tallest version of the Freedom Shield and I really like it. My helmet is open faced as I took off the pull down clear shield and just left the sunshield pull down if I need it for some reason. I wear glasses full time and they are transition lenses so I doubt I ever would but it's...

Anyone else notice the number of low mileage used Spyders on Marketplace? Any ideas why?

I had a friend with a Norton Atlas way back. I helped him build that bike out of parts in the old wooden barracks at Ord. Good times.

Are people throwing better shocks at their trike first, instead of better tires?

That stretch of PCH is beautiful. I was stationed at Ord with the 7th infantry back in the day so I saw that stretch a lot going back to Oxnard.

Are people throwing better shocks at their trike first, instead of better tires?

I'm with you on the crappy SoCal roads, we moved from Oxnard in 2019 to Tennessee and I didn't have the trike then but I did have my C7 Vette and I used to cringe constantly and wonder when I was going to crack a wheel.

Anyone else notice the number of low mileage used Spyders on Marketplace? Any ideas why?

I bought my 22 in late 22 used with a thousand miles on it because they couldn't get used to it. Obviously they tried but no go. That's okay, it saved me a fair amount of money.

I've changed my opinion of backrests for Spyder Riding - anyone else?

I have the Utopia backrest on my 2022 RTL. I tried the BRP and the original Hopnel one, neither fit my short butt very well. They hit me too far up the back. The Utopia one I have the two parts mounted in reverse order to get it in the comfort zone, I would still like it lower and I saw a post...

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

You have my favorite Corvette of them all, and when the C7 came out it reminded so much of the early C3 I had to have one. So much fun. Here's mine.

Ikon Front Shocks - Who Uses 'Em & What Do You Think?

I agree, with my RTL I have slowly replaced all the suspension, first the sway bar with Baja Ron's Ultra, then the shocks with Elka's and last the tires. But that's over a 4 year span since my RTL is a 2022. But not because I am an incredibly aggressive rider all the time, but more to gain the...

Looking for 2026 RT Ltd or Sea to Sky equipment recommendations, brands/makes of phone mounts & cup/bottle holders, and a decent Half Cover?

I use this drink holder. Just an added note, if you are going top try this combo, give the top cuff mounting ball a good scoring with some heavy grit sandpaper, I used 100 grit and then put some heat shrink tubing on the ball because the Ciro mounting part is also smooth plastic and it won't...

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

Miss those places, wife and I met in Oxnard where we both went to high school, we lived there for most of the next 40 years before moving to Tennessee.

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

I used one of these. Previously it had a phone holder attached. https://www.lamonstergarage.com/lamonster-bar-clamp-with-1-ram-ball-for-can-am-spyder-f3-rt-2020-canyon/?searchuuid=b9b3aa7d-58f9-4b00-929c-52337ac294b1&search_query=Lamonster®+Bar+Clamp

TIME FOR UPGRADES on my 2024 RT-L - which of these do you recommend?

I had about 9500 miles on the stock tire, and although I am a pretty conservative rider most of the time, it was starting to look like the tread depth was pretty shallow. After reading the comments for several years now of people far more knowledgeable than I on Spyders, I did what I usually try...

Does my Spyder have a bell? Is it to warn of changing gears?

Or maybe they got it as a gift from a well meaning loved one who's feelings they didn't want to hurt?

Front wheel hop when braking - suspension arm bushes, or... ?? Any help?

I had a tiny little bit of this going on before I had the brakes replaced with EBC pads and rotors, had a fluid flush, and got new Vredestein tires. Baja Ron's shop did the work so I am not sure if they saw anything else and just corrected it while working on my bike, or if it was the brakes or...

TIME FOR UPGRADES on my 2024 RT-L - which of these do you recommend?

I am very fortunate to live in Tennessee about 200 miles from Baja Ron's shop in east Tennessee. I am a wrench turner so I do as much as I can when I can get my hands to work properly so I had already done Elka shocks on the front and Ron's ultra sway bar the year before, but I hadn't replaced...

Fitted new EBC pads, now I have a Brake noise - anyone else? Any fixes?

Yes they do! And brace yourself and hang on if you ever have to do a panic stop.

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

Since I have a 2022 Spyder I added an Aoocci device which brings reliable CarPlay to the trike. It also has front and rear dash cams. It's been flawless for over a year. - -

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

Sad that society hasn't caught up to the fact that you are just as impaired using a phone while driving as you are driving under the influence. The only difference is the impairment stops when the phone is put down.
