• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had a New Piece of Bling Made!

Ron, I'm sure we'd all love to the backstory behind your surf shop shirt. Doesn't seem like Greenville would be the surf capital of TN, but then a friend of mine lives in Munich Germany and they surf there. You have our undivided attention. (mine at least).

Had a New Piece of Bling Made!

No need to apologize to any of us. Business comes first. I'm sure we all appreciate the raffle, win or lose.

The Spyder is certainly not a Honda - but the reliability sure would be nice! Still not switching tho!!

If any of the Japanese manufacturers or our Bavarian friends would make a similar machine, most of us would probably switch over in a New York minute.

    Define "Old"

Age is an attitude. None of you guys are "old" - you're just maturing quicker than you'd like.

Any Chicago area dealers who will mount car tire?

Thanks for the encouragement Peter. It looks like I may be doing it myself because I'm sure not going to put another Kenda on there.

Any Chicago area dealers who will mount car tire?

Any Chicago area places that will mount a car tire on an F3? Checked with three Can Am dealers and a motorcycle speed shop recommended by one of them and they all say - "No"- liability issues, we'll lose our dealership license. I may have to get out the manual and do it myself.

    Lamont: Get Well My Friend

That's not an easy video to watch. Gotta love the fact that Lamont made that to give us all an update. I've always respected his views on the motorcycle world from V8Bikeriders to M109riders and certainly this site. Lamonster Garage has always been top-notch for parts and info. There's a whole...

Does anybody use a J & S Jack to lift their Spyder?

I use my J & S jack to lift my '20 F3. I contacted them about the Spyder adapters. They quit making them long before they went belly up.

    Lucky the Kenda's suck...

Any time the wheels have been removed for any maintenance on a vehicle at a dealer, the first thing I do when I get home, is loosen the lug nuts and retighten them properly. Dealers always overtighten them and you'd never break them loose out on the highway with an OEM wrench. It's just what...

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

LFMD38 is correct. It has nothing to do with Buc-ee's whatsoever and everything to do with society. It's not about you. It's all about me.

From a Goldwing to an Spyder RT Limited ...

Just got back from the Blue Ridge Parkway and The Dragon area. I rode my F3-S and my friends all rode bikes. I could keep up with or out do them on the Dragon, without using much body English. I rode bikes for many years and switched because I like riding something different. I doubt you'll...

Is the Carbon Black RT color difficult to maintain; & does it scratch easily?

Great color. Enjoy it. If you get a few chips, consider them the price of enjoyment. It means you've been out having fun with it.
