• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone interested in renting out their RT near Cincinnati?

Thanks Racoon. I may reach back out to take you up on that re hitch and harness. Gotta see if they can fix mine first. Figured Spyder lovers wouldn't likely rent it out but didn't hurt to ask. Thought I might catch someone who also used it as a side hustle. Appreciate you responding with...

Anyone interested in renting out their RT near Cincinnati?

Anyone interested in renting out their RT near Cincinnati for the period 8.7.24 - 8.13.24 for a KY ride? Unfortunately, we just hit a deer head on with my 2012 RT and I'm not sure if it'll be fixed or even fixable - the shop has already said 2012 new parts are hard to come by. I had a trip...

Are Tire 'Flat Stoppers' necessary for winter storage??

I've got a 2012 RT that's "new" to me so I'm clueless on most things Spyder. With so many opinions on the internet/YT, I thought I'd check the forum here. Didn't catch anything on my 1st search of the topic so I hope I'm not annoying you all with a "same old question" asked and answered a...

    2012 RT - NOCO Genius 2D maintainer - confused, conflicting advice - Help/advice?

Pegasus1300 & K80Shooter, thanks so much for your wisdom and encouragement on this little (turned bigger) project. It took longer than I wanted, or than it should've taken (ever heard that before?) but it was a great choice to "just do it the right way the first time". I found a really helpful...

    2012 RT - NOCO Genius 2D maintainer - confused, conflicting advice - Help/advice?

Thanks K80Shooter and others. Hit me with the "do it right the first time" idea. Appreciate the wisdom re the Genius 2D not for lithium batteries. Since AGM was OEM, I'm hoping that's what's still in there when I open it up. Maybe I'm best returning my 2D and switching to a Genius2 instead...

    2012 RT - NOCO Genius 2D maintainer - confused, conflicting advice - Help/advice?

Thanks for the replies! Guess it looks like panels it is... Pegasus1300, sounds like you attach directly to battery posts then and not a ground screw on frame elsewhere (for the negative cable attachment from the maintainer/tender)? Correct?

    2012 RT - NOCO Genius 2D maintainer - confused, conflicting advice - Help/advice?

BTW - I've tried doing my own due diligence on this re Can Am owner manual; NOCO 2D manual (conflicting advice re set up to poles or to ground); YT videos; and related threads in forums in this community. 2012 RT manual refers to battery poles access under the seat, but I cannot attach the...
