• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Took my Ryker to have the keys programmed, a 110 mile trip in great British weather, dry and warm. You can't start it with a magnet now. Also had oil change, bike feels a lot smother.

    That download would not be any good to me, I wouldn't be able to open it. I've got lots of down loads on my PC, but can't open any of them. I'm not good with a PC, can't even transfer pics from my phone to the PC. And I can't see that ever changing, now that I'm in my Eighties.

    Long shot to find out about the manuals, would a 2023 manual be about the same or is there a lot of difference?? Just looking on E bay, '24 '25 workshop manuals are for sale on cd rom and will cost me $43. $18 delivery charge is a lot, considering there's hardly any weight.

    Anyone found the Ryker's Alternator Output Specs? Primarily, the amps?

    So it's old style then. I can't think of any motorcycle I've had in the last 20 years that had a magneto, granted the Ryker's not a motobike. Don't think it will put out as much power as an Alternator.

    After reading about porous engines and various things on here beginning to think I should not have bought Ryker. It can be started with a magnet, so it's easy to steal. I think I should have kept my Triumph Speed Triple that didn't have any problems.

    Will the Ryker drive train clunk reduce after break-in is complete?

    MY Ryker doesn't always clunk if I let it warm up 'til the choke goes off, before driving off out of shed - it doesnt clunk when I do that But after shutting it off while I put my helmet and gloves on then restarting it to drive out, it will clunk. My dealer said all of them do it.
