• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 F3-T coolant change

So I have about 9400 miles total on my bike. I have only put maybe 450 total on it. It had a previous owner. Not sure what has been done or not. I did get the oil, oil filter and air filter done.

In regards to the coolant, how many miles before I should consider replacing the fluid?

And is it a DIY kind of thing?

It is a DIY kind of thing and your owner's manual should have a schedule for you to follow. For my 2012 it is every 2 years. When I got mine in 2015 it had never been changed and I had the dealer to it. Good thing because the removing the plug turns out to be a bad thing. I am guessing that it hasn't changed on yours either. It seems that the plug is only a press fit and it doesn't take much to dislodge it. The correct procedure is to remove the radiator hoses and drain it out that way. you can get you fluid tested to see if it is still up to par.
