There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2023 Ryker with a Final Drive Leak - what could be venting oil? Any common leak points?

My wife’s 2023 900 ACE with about 1500 miles has a wet final drive near the bottom drain plug. It is not a large leak. It makes 2 inch spot on the garage floor after several days. It is hard to tell exactly where it came from due to the fact the oil gets blown around on the final drive and wheel. I thought maybe the drain plug o-ring could be pinched/torn. I replaced the drain plug o-ring and refilled as a quick possible fix. I noticed it is back. Are there any vents on the final drive that could be venting oil? Are there any common problems with these leaking at the final drive? I figured I would ask before I dive in deep and inspect/replace internal seals. Thanks.

Have you cleaned the final drive well and let it set and still can't tell where it's coming from? Maybe block it up and take the tire off, that will give you a better idea of where it's coming from! I am betting a seal!

That’s my next step. I’m just looking to see if anyone has any experience with a common leak failure point to possibly focus my attention to a specific area/seal.

Just a suggestion, but wipe a finger in the oil and smell it. Does it smell like gear oil (aka cat piss) or like something else. I took my 2019 Rally in for what I thought was a final drive leak and the tech identified it as a leaky water pump. The antifreeze was running all the way back and wetting the final drive. It was covered under warranty.

Most definitely gear oil. You can’t mistake that smell.
